The new student joins hogwarts in the 3rd year. She is the same age as Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco. But for some reason, Draco has a special liking to her.

You managed to dodge when the tree tried to hit you, pulling Harry and Hermione with you. "I'm going inside!" You exclaimed, running towards the hole Ron was dragged into. "Y/n, no!" You heard Hermione exclaim.
You slid into the hole, exclaiming to yourself at how narrow the slide down was. You groaned when you made it down, hitting your arm on one of the planks that were sticking out from the old walls.
"The shrieking shack?" You asked yourself in a whisper, your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Shacking your head, you quickly but quietly made your way up the stairs, hissing to yourself when one of the steps creaked loudly.
You finally made your way into the room, smiling when you saw Ron was fine. "Y/n!" Ron exclaimed. "Ron, you're alright." You said, Harry and Hermione making their way inside the room.
"Ron, where is the dog?!" Harry exclaimed, his wand out. "He isn't a dog. It's a man! He is an Animagus!" Ron said, pointing behind Harry, you, and Hermione. You slowly turned and followed the paw prints on the ground, looking upwards to see a man standing behind the door from the doorway you entered the room through.
Your eyes widened, quickly looking towards Harry. "It's-" You cut yourself off when Hermione moved in front of you and Harry. "If you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us too." She said quickly.
"No... Just one will die tonight." Sirius Black said in response, chuckling softly. "And it will be you!!" He exclaimed, running to Sirius and trying to strangle him. He managed to tackle him down on the ground, taking his wand and pointing it at his face.
Sirius laughed at his attempt, Hermione, you, and Ron quietly watching. "Are you going to kill me, Harry?" He asked while he chuckled, staring at Harry deeply until someone burst through the closed door.
"Professor Lupin." You whispered as Lupin pointed his wand at Harry. "Expelliarmus!" Cast the Professor, disarming Harry. He gestured Harry to move away, Harry quickly stumbling to his feet and moving your way.
Remus Lupin was the defense against the dark arts teacher. You saw him once or twice before Severus Snape took over the class after Remus kept missing a few classes.
You grabbed his arm, checking he was okay before looking at Lupin, hearing him talking to Sirius. He helped him up and hugged him, your eyes widening. "You're friends?" You asked, Professor Lupin turning to you while Sirius kept repeating he had found 'him'.
"How could you?! I trusted you!" Hermione exclaimed as she walked forward. "He is a werewolf, that's why he has been skipping classes." She said, your eyes widening and turning to Harry who simply looked at you as shocked as you were.
"How long have you known that?" Remus asked, looking at Hermione quite surprised. "Ever since Professor Snape gave us a lecture about it," Hermione replied.
"You really are the brightest witch of your age, Hermione," Remus said. "Enough already! Let's kill him!" Sirius said in a hurry, showing he was anxious to do what he came for.
"Not yet, wait for a little more-" Remus started, only to be cut off by Sirius. "I've waited enough! I have waited for for so long! For twelve years!" He shouted, sounding terrified and hurt. Crazy even.
Remus stayed silent, staring at Sirius before sighing. "Okay. But at least give me a minute. Harry needs to know why." He said. "I know why," Harry said while stepping forward. "You killed my parents." He said.
"I did not," Sirius said. "It was Peter Pettigrew, Harry." You looked towards Remus when he said that. You heard your mother tell you stories about him, telling you he was supposedly dead after the Potter's died as well.
"But he is dead." You said, taking a step forward as none of you believed Lupin's, neither Black's words. "I also thought he was dead until Harry told me he saw him in the Marauder's Map," Remus replied.
"It could have lied." Harry was quick to say after. "The map never lies!" Sirius exclaimed. "He has been alive all this time! And I've been paying for his deeds!" Suddenly, Snape burst inside the room, quickly disarming Sirius.
"Finally, I am happy I can be the one to bring you to Dumbledore now," Snape said, staring at Sirius with a glare. "Go play with your chemistry kit, Severus." Sirius spat.
"Be careful what you say, Sirius Black. I can easily take you and drop you to the dementors right now." He said, lifting his head up slightly as he pressed the tip of his wand against Sirius' neck.
"Is that fear I sense in your eyes, Black?" Snape said quietly. You stared for a while before you finally got the courage to step up, pointing your wand at Professor Snape. "Expelliarmus!" You cast, sending Professor Snape flying onto the bed beside him and knocking him out.
"Y/n! You just attacked a teacher!" Hermione exclaimed. "I'll deal with it later." You said quietly, turning towards Sirius and Remus.
