"If Sirius is really coming after you, we need to learn how to protect ourselves from him and the dementors that attack you, Harry." You said quietly. Hermione, Ron, you and Harry were in the library, looking for spellbooks or any information on dementors.

"Professor Lupin said he'll teach me the Patronus charm. The one he used to save me from the dementor on the train." Harry said, looking at you. " I can teach you later if you want to." He shrugged, glancing at Hermione and Ron.

Hermione shook her head, sighing softly. "You cannot. The rules say that we cannot learn spells that are not meant to be learned in our year." She said. Harry sighed too, looking at you instead. "I could teach you if you want to instead."

"I'll be fine. I don't want to get into more trouble than I already am." You said, taking one of the books in the pile in your hands and moving it to the bookshelf. The book itself flew out from your hand to its spot on the bookshelf.

You placed the last two books in their spots while the trio followed you, looking through books or simply following you. Your eyes fell upon Draco who was in the corner of the room, in the darkest side, staring right at you.

It seemed that his eyes were calling you as if trying to tell you to go to him. The necklace shone in his hands, unconsciously making you lift your hand and caress the mark on your neck. The burn it had left.

You looked down before turning to the trio too quickly, startling them. "I have to go do something real quick. I'll meet you at the Great Hall, okay?" You said. Harry, Ron, and Hermione nodded in slight confusion before leaving, Hermione leaving the book at the bookshelf's table before doing so.

You sighed, walking to where Draco was after making sure nobody followed you or saw you go there. You pulled your wand out, pressing Draco against the bookshelf where you were completely hidden behind it, out of sight.

The tip dug into his skin as you angrily stared at him, "You knew, didn't you Malfoy? Hm? The only way to get a safe spot in the dark lord's army was to get me in as well and take the necklace, right?" You deduced, staring deeply into his eyes.

He managed to somehow switch spots, now you being the one against the bookshelf with his wand pressed against your chin. He glared deeply into your eyes. "I had no idea what all this was about. Snape doesn't want to tell me much either." He replied through gritted teeth.

You growled softly as he held your hands in place with one hand against your chest. "I guess it is up to us to learn what all of this is about." He said before pulling away, making you take your wand from the ground where Draco had knocked it off.

"Did Professor Snape say something else?" You asked, taking the necklace from him when he let it hang from his hand in front of you, but he held onto it from one side as you held it from the other.

"No. Just that we are too young to be involved in this yet. That someday, we will finally know when it is time for us to join in on the Dark Lord's side." He whispered, letting go of the necklace so you could finally retrieve it.

"Great, even more secrets. As if it isn't already shocking for me to know my mother is on Voldemort's side." You whispered, looking around before looking at Draco. He looked completely normal, he was not even surprised to know about his parents being the bad guys.

"I grew up with them, I've been taught to side with the most powerful and to hate those who don't want me." He said, looking you up and down. "Oh, really? So you hate me then?" You said, snorting softly.

"You are so funny, honestly. One day, you try to be all good and nice, and the next day you want to shoot an unforgivable curse on my back." You said, moving closer to him with a disgusted look.

"You are one of the reasons I side with Harry Potter and everyone else. Because they don't look at your status but what you are worth." You said, pushing past him about to leave, but he made you stop.

"It's because you don't know who to side with. Once our time comes to work together and end Hogwarts, you won't be able to side with them and you'll have to side with me and everyone else." Draco spat, glaring at your back.

You slowly turned around, looking straight into his eyes with a hopeful and determined look. You grinned softly, putting your wand away and shrugging.

"You never know. I will still be siding with the right side even if I am standing on the wrong one." You replied, winking at him teasingly before leaving.
