You were in the Three Broomsticks, heading to one of the free tables. "There might be teachers in here, we should warn Harry when he comes back," Hermione said.

You nodded softly, sighing as you sat down. "Honestly, I feel like there is something off with the teachers about Sirius Black. Why would an Azkaban prisoner be after Harry?" You wondered.

"True. It would make sense if Harry did something to him but he didn't. Or maybe his parents did." Ron muttered, letting out a quiet hum.

The three of you sat there, pondering about it as the main door suddenly flew open, startling everyone.

The three of you knew it was Harry, but for everyone else, it looked like some strong wind blew the door open. "That's Harry," Hermione said.

You felt a tap on your shoulder, looking back to see it was one of the waiters with your butterbeers. "4 butterbeers." The boy said, placing the cups on the table.

Harry came out from the bathroom section, his invisibility cloak on. You purposely took a seat at one of the tables that were away from any teachers or prying eyes.

"Harry, you okay?" You asked, noticing his slightly paler and worried expression. "Sirius Black... He..." Harry trailed off when he sat down.

He stared at his cup with a look of disbelief in his eyes, unable to believe what he heard while he was away.

"What happened, Harry? Tell us!" Hermione said, hating the suspense he was leaving you three on.

"I overheard McGonagall, Hagrid, Flitwick, and someone else talking about Sirius." He began, whispering it so only you could hear.

"He is my godfather."

You widened your eyes along with Ron and Hermione, sharing a look with Hermione. "What? But- How- Why would he be after you then?" Hermione asked after stumbling upon her own words.

"I don't know. To get answers? To protect me? To kill me?" Harry replied, shrugging slightly. You looked around, "We should head somewhere we can't be heard." You whispered back.

You all got up after drinking your butterbeers, heading to the door, and exiting the place.

Some students from Hogwarts were having fun with the snow, others were in the stores, and most were in the Three Broomsticks.

You walked towards the main gate where the train was, staying at the bridge that was over a small river that crossed the town.

You felt a burning sensation on your chest from where your necklace was, your skin beginning to itch and burn. You hissed, halting in your spot where you began taking your scarf off in a hurry.

"What's wrong, Y/n?" Hermione asked, Harry and Ron, stopping when they saw your pained state. Some other students also stopped by you as you whimpered from the pain, throwing your scarf on the ground.

"What's wrong, Pottah? Did someone catch you breaking the rules?" Draco said as he made his way to you four, finally noticing your state. "Y/n?" He said in surprise, genuinely worried.

You finally managed to reach the necklace and pulled it off harshly, breaking the lace. You rubbed your skin where it had left a mark.

"Y/n, your skin... It left a mark." Hermione said in shock, pointing to your neck. You looked down to see a snake was left as a mark with a letter S in the snake.

You lifted up the necklace to look at it, a bright light emitting from it and making everyone squeal at it. But your eyes widened, the light blinding you as-

"She is just a child, Severus." Your mother said as she stood behind Snape, your potions teacher. "She is meant to be in this. Just like Draco Malfoy is. They are both made to be in this. There is no choice." Severus said.

Your mother let out a small whimper as she covered her mouth, trying to hold her tears and sobs in. "They cannot choose against the lord. Just like you did." Severus said, turning to look at your mother. "Someday, she might make the right choice and guide Draco there as well. But for now, all she can do is not know about any of this."

He handed your mother the necklace, watching her as she sobbed again, taking it with hesitation. She stared at the necklace with fear and pain in her eyes. It was as if you were looking into her eyes.

"She will grow up and know her path, but sadly, she won't be able to choose it," Severus said.

"Y/n!!" Hermione exclaimed as you fell to the ground, staring blankly at the sky. "Can you hear me? Y/n!" She exclaimed again, falling to her knees beside you. Harry and Ron went to your side as well while you laid frozen and shocked on the ground, the freezing snow against your body.

"Move!" Draco said, pushing one of the Ravenclaw's students out of the way to move closer to you. "Finite." Draco cast, making you gasp as you finally were able to move and breathe without feeling the tight feeling in your chest.

You felt dizzy, tired, exhausted, confused, shocked. You closed your eyes, letting the darkness surround you as a tear trailed down your cheek, feeling overwhelmed.

"Y/n, wake up." You heard Hermione's whimper as you fell into unconsciousness, your arms falling limp onto the snow.

"Professor!!" Harry screamed.
