The new student joins hogwarts in the 3rd year. She is the same age as Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco. But for some reason, Draco has a special liking to her.

You laughed hard at Harry's story from the summer he spent with his aunt and uncle. "You actually made your aunt fly away after turning her into a balloon?" You asked, Hermione and Ron sharing a laugh.
Harry chuckled softly, nodding his head. "She started saying stuff about my parents that was rude of her, so I just did it." He said, shrugging. "And you are safe now?" You asked worriedly. "I mean, you used magic outside of Hogwarts." You sighed.
"Oh, yeah. I went to the ministry and they pardoned me for doing that. I will make sure to not make anyone else fly away." He joked, all of you laughing slightly. You took your robe off and sighed, "I will go to bed now. I've got potions tomorrow in the morning." You said, making a disgusted face jokingly.
Hermione got up as well, following you to the door. "I do as well, so we will see you at the Great Hall for lunch." She said, the two of you waving towards them as a goodnight. You exited the room and headed towards the other room.
"I'll quickly go to the bathroom, I'll be back in a bit." You said, placing your robe on the bed. After that, you headed to the bathrooms, bumping into Draco on the way there. "Oooh, Y/L. What are you doing here?" He asked.
You glared at him, crossing your arms. "I'm heading to the bathroom. Are you going to threaten me with your wand again?" You spat back, making him rolls his eyes and sigh. He looked around nervously as if he was hesitating to say something until he finally got the courage to do so.
"I'm sorry..."
You gasped teasingly, covering your mouth in shock. "Is that an apology I hear?" You said, grinning softly. It seems Draco Malfoy has a heart after all. "I'm sorry, yes! I thought you were someone trying to hurt me or a dementor." He said, his cheeks and neck turning red as he avoided your eyes.
You smiled widely, seeing that you might have gotten into Draco's soft side, if he even had one. "Apology accepted. Now, I will go to the bathroom. Goodnight." You said, moving past him towards the bathroom at the end of the hallway.
"Hey, Y/L!" He called out. "I have a name, you know?" You said, turning around to face him. "Goodnight." He said with a grin, his shy, embarrassed look gone completely before he walked back towards the Slytherin dorms.
You scoffed slightly at him, shaking your head slightly. After heading to the bathroom and using it, you returned to the dorms and went to sleep, getting ready for the next day.

After potions class with Snape and 2 more classes, you and Hermione headed to the Great Hall, walking to the table where Harry and Ron were sitting at.
"Hey, guys!" You said, happy to see them. After sitting down, you noticed the look on Ron's and Harry's face. "What's wrong?" Hermione asked worriedly, sharing a worried look with you.
Harry simply passed a newspaper to the two of you, Hermione and you looking down and reading it. "Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban." You read out loud.
"Dumbledore says he is coming after me," Harry said, looking around in case someone heard him. "After you? Why?" Hermione asked, closing the newspaper.
"I don't know." He said quickly as many students came in and sat down, a meeting occurring out of nowhere. You saw Draco who was sitting at the Slytherin table, facing you.
You smiled before looking away towards Dumbledore who stood in front of the teachers' table, waiting for everyone to quiet down.
"We are in sirius danger." He called out. (I'm sorry I couldn't help it >~<)
"A prisoner from Azkaban has escaped and might be coming here in search of something." He said, glancing at Harry but only you 4 and Draco noticed.
"Dementors will be guarding the school from now on to make sure you all are secure and they will keep looking for Sirius Black, the escaped prisoner of Azkaban." He explained.
As Dumbledore moved back to his seat, the hall began to erupt into talking. "But it doesn't make sense. You were attacked by a dementor on the train." You said, leaning closer to the 3 of them.
"It sounds dangerous to me. What if it attacks Harry again?" Hermione said, glancing at Harry before looking at Ron and you.
"I don't know. Let's eat lunch and go to Hagrid's class. Today is his first day." You said, smiling sympathetically at a worried and nervous Hagrid sitting at the teacher's table.
"We should investigate more about this dementor's and to why they attacked me," Harry said, taking a piece of bread and beginning to eat.
"You'll be fine Harry. You've got us with you." You said with a warm smile, beginning to eat as well.
