"Damn it!" Draco groaned as you walked inside the room of requirement. You sighed softly, carrying a plate with food.
Draco had spent the entire afternoon working on the closet so it would work for when it is needed. He hadn't had dinner and it was already 11 PM.
"Hey, how's it going?" You asked softly, caressing his back as he leaned forward on a nearby table. He sighed heavily, his body trembling from anger and frustration.
"I can't do it. It's not working." He spat angrily. You placed the plate down beside him, embracing him from behind. You buried your face into his nape, closing your eyes.
It was enough for him to slowly start calming down. You knew from the last couple of days you had spent together that your warmth calmed him.
It made him relax and forget about what was going on here. He closed his eyes, letting out a trembling sigh.
"I'm sorry... I'm just sick of this..." He muttered. You hummed quietly to him, kissing the side of his neck. "I know, I know." You whispered back.
"I'm here. You'll succeed." You encouraged him. He slowly turned around and embraced you properly, his face in your neck.
"I really just want this to end. I want us to leave this place and forget about Voldemort and everyone else." He whispered.
A small smile grew on your lips, your hand caressing the back of his head. "We will soon. We will both go somewhere far away, get a house in the middle of nowhere and we'll have little Malfoy's running around." You whispered.
He chuckled softly, pulling away to look at you. "Really? You want that?" He asked, his hands caressing your lower back.
You simply nodded, staring into his eyes deeply. "Anything for you." His lips pressed on yours gently in a soft, loving kiss.
You closed your eyes and gave in, burying your hands in his hair as he pulled you closer, leaning back on the table.
He tilted his head, licking your lower lip. You cut the kiss off by pulling away, resting your hands on his chest. Your eyes stayed closed while you leaned your forehead on his.
"Sadly, we should keep going. We can't trail off more." You smiled sadly at him. He sighed as well, nodding his head.
"Yeah, you're ri-" He cut himself off when the door opened, the two of you quickly hiding away behind some desk or whatever it was.
You risked being seen when you got up and took the plate with food to hide it as well, hiding behind the desk again.
"I swear I heard someone in here," McGonagall said as she hurried inside the room. "See? I told you nobody was here." Severus's voice echoed through the room.
You shared a worried look with Draco, staying as quiet as possible. "Professor McGonagall. You have lots of things in your mind right now. I'll check the room in case there is someone." Severus said.
"You can go," Severus said slowly. McGonagall hesitated before nodding, heading out of the room. Once the door closed, Severus sighed in relief and turned to the desk.
"Okay, come out." He said quietly. You and Draco came out from the hiding spot. After placing the plate down, you headed to Severus and hugged him tightly, smiling happily.
"Hello, Father." You said. He hugged you back as he chuckled, closing his eyes as he focused on the warmth of the hug.
You didn't hug a lot with Severus. Although you were getting close as time passed, you still didn't feel entirely like father and daughter.
You tried though, you tried to give him the love of a daughter as much as you could all the time because you never knew what was going to happen in the battle.
"How are you? Any progress?" He asked, pulling away from the hug. "Well, we are still trying but this damn thing won't work," Draco said, kicking the closet.
"Hey, we will get it to work. Don't worry." You said when you went to his side, caressing his arm. He looked warmly at you, smiling wryly.
"What is going on between... you two?" Severus asked, his eyes narrowing slightly as he crossed his arms. You looked at him shyly, blushing.
"N-Nothing." You stuttered. "It's obvious. I don't really like him but if you're happy..." Severus said.
Draco frowned, staring at Severus as he turned to leave. "Hey, I'm right here." He said quietly while watching him leave.
When Severus exited the room, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders, smiling at him. "Hey, it's still something." You said.
"Did he just approve of us?" Draco asked surprised. "Yup, it seems like he did." You replied.
You were worried that Severus wouldn't approve of you and Draco being together. Since you couldn't deny that Draco was a bit narcissistic at times and selfish.
But you were one of the small number of people that understood why he was like that. You also couldn't deny that it didn't make him look hot.
"Well, then I can say I am very lucky." He smirked before pressing his lips on yours for a deep kiss.
