Chapter Two

-Nina-

Lumabas ako para magpahangin dahil sa sobrang dami ng tao sa dancefloor. It was a great birthday party as usual and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Ilang araw na lang ay debut ko na din so I'm not hoping ng bonggang party kasi di ko naman kaya ang ganito kagastos at kagarbo.

Maybe a simple dinner with family and friends will do. I have been saving up kasi para sa birthday ko. Bukas kakanta ulit ako sa Brewmance para may pandagdag gastos.

I sighed and started walking when I saw that familiar person smoking.

"Alam mo ba smoking is dangerous to your health?" I asked and Marco turned then smiled.

"Really? Why didn't you say so?" He said and threw his cigarette on the ground then stepped on it.

"Yes. Sayang naman kasi if magkasakit ka right?"

"What are you doing here again Little Girl?"

"Stargazing." I replied and he grinned as he remembered the first time we met.

"Come. Sit beside me ma chèri." Natuwa ako na may pet name siya sa akin kasi it means special ako sa kanya. As if.

"When's your debut?" He asked as I sat down beside him.

"Debut ko? Wala. Just a dinner party on June 12th." Nahihiya kong sagot.

"Why not? It should be as grandiose as Trixie's."

"We're not rich. My father and I can't afford it." He was a bit stunned of what I said.

"I see. Will you invite me?" He asked and glad that he didn't probe further about me being poor.

"Sure if you will come. It's just a simple dinner only." Pero sa isip ko sana pumunta siya.

"I'll be there. Just don't forget to send me your invitation card okay?" He smiled and it made my heart melt.

"Talaga?" He laughed kasi I sounded very eager of his attendance on my birthday.

"Count on it, Little Girl but then you're not so little anymore." He said while tucking my hear behind my ear.

He was staring at me and moved closer making me breathless.

Oh my... He's so close and my heart is running so fast.

"You're grown as a very beautiful girl, Nina." My name was like a caress on those lips of his.

His fingers caressed my cheek then held my chin.

"Mmmarco?" I asked confused with butterflies on my stomach.

"Can I ask for a little taste?" He asked and without preamble descended his lips to mine for a kiss.

It was gentle and sweet. I can feel wonderful shivers travel from my toes to my spine. I placed my hands on his shoulders to be closer to him and he groaned.

It was my very first kiss and I feel so lightheaded when his lips left mine.

Bago pa ako makapagsalita ay niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit.

"Don't grow up so fast Little Girl. I'll see you again." He kissed my hair then stood up and left me.

Hindi ko maintindihan ang sinabi niya pero mas nangibabaw ang tuwa dahil sa halik niya.

I waited for a few minutes bago pumasok sa loob and as usual, I was hoping to see Marco.

"Nins! Shan ka galing? Let'sh go home na... Lashing na ako!" Nakita kong medyo di na makalakad ng tuwid si Felicity.
