Chapter Eight

-Nina-

"What the fuck is this Nina? Where's Trixie?" Growled Marco whose eyes look murderous.

"Now Marco please calm down... I can explain." Sabi ko habang inaantay ang chloroform na mailagay sa panyo.

Kasabwat ko si Agent Pascual sa kidnapping kay Marco kaya bago pa magwild si Marco ay papatulugin muna namin siya.

We will be going to Tagaytay and for now dapat makatulog si Marco bago kami pumunta doon dahil magpapalit kami ng escape vehicle.

Sa ngayon ay hinahabol kami ng pulis na dineploy sa kasal kasi ngayon lang nila na-realize na nawawala si Trixie at kinidnap ko ang groom.

Nakatingin pa rin ng masakit si Marco sa akin as I took a deep breath before explaining.

"Trixie is missing and we're married." I said while waiting for the hanky with the chloroform.

Marco laughed unbelievingly at what I said.

"Married? Us? It wasn't you I wanted to marry ma chéri." He said and somehow the truth in those words pierced my heart.

"I know but then it was me who was with you at the altar. Said MY vows, slipped the ring on your finger and signed the marriage certificate even if it was Trixie's name being called. I have a copy of the marriage certificate containing both our names and signatures. So you're good as married to me." I shot back angrily.

"Really? So you planned this all along didn't you? Do you want me to sue you my little girl?" Banta niya at alam kong magagawa niya.

"No." I squeaked as we neared our first stop.

Nakita ko na tumango si Agent Pascual sa rearview mirror kaya inabot ko ang panyo.

Ang lakas ng kaba ng dibdib ko sa gagawin ko. I have never done anything like this before.

I was always the good girl Nina and somehow doing beyong your norm can be scary yet exciting at the same time.

Tiningnan ko si Marco na di maipinta ang mukha sa galit habang nag-aantay ako ng tiempo.

"You will never get away with this little girl." Marco said and started to move back to kick the door for escape.

"Marco! Huwag!" Sigaw ko sa kanya at tinangkang pigilan pero pumiglas siya.

"Nina pigilan mo siya!" Sabi naman ni Agent Pascual.

"Let go of me, Nina." He thrashed but I stopped him by wrapping my arms around him.

"I can't Marco. You're my husband now." I whispered behind him.

Marco stopped struggling kaya inilagay ang panyo sa ilong niya at pilit niyang kunin ang kamay ko pero huli na ang lahat dahil nakatulog na siya.

I laid his face on my arms while I remove the hanky and stared at his handsome face.

Bakit si Trixie pa hinahanap mo na andito lang naman ako.

Ang asawa mo.

I kissed his lips and mouthed "I'm sorry" as my unwilling husband slept in my arms like a baby.

Nakarating kami sa isang abandoned warehouse at inalalayan ako ni Agent Pascual na ilipat sa kabilang sasakyan si Marco leaving the bridal car behind.

I also took off the wedding gown and placed it inside the bridal car along with Marco's Tuxedo jacket.

"Ikaw na bahala sa asawa mo. Good luck." Sabi ni Agent Pascual.

"Yeah I will need all the luck in the world. Salamat po sa tulong ninyo ni Mrs. Pia po." Sabi ko at nagpaalam na kay Agent Pascual.
