I glance over my knees that balance my sketchbook, seeing Harry sat across from me copying my position as he scribbles in his journal. His eyebrows are furrowed with a crease in his forehead causing me to grin over at him and his concentration.
We've been sat on his balcony basically all day, our backs to either ends of the outdoor couch. The sun is hidden behind the tall buildings, taking away the natural light I was using to my advantage.
June is progressing slowly which I'm thankful for because I feel like the summer is slipping away all too fast. We're almost halfway through June already and that makes me sad. I wish it could stay warm like this all year round.
"What are you writing?" I ask, setting my sketchbook and pencil off the the small square foot rest, climbing towards Harry. He stretches his legs out as he closes the journal, allowing me to crawl up beside him and lay between him and the back of the couch. I rest my head against his shoulder, wrapping my leg over his and cuddling into his side.
"That's for me to know." He grins, tossing it towards my sketchbook. I trace over his skin through the thin material of his shirt, both of us laying comfortably. "Maybe I'll show you one day." He continues.
"You stopped writing for awhile." I observe quietly, feeling him nod his head as I focus on his slow breathing and the way his rings look on his hand that rests over is stomach.
"Yeah, I got back into it over our break." He tells me easily. I nod and frown when he sits up, grasping my sketchbook and laying back down, shaking me my newest sketch I'd started working on today. "Niagara falls?" He questions. I shrug my shoulders.
"I want to go someday, it's pretty." I tell him, adjusting myself so I can look at him. He stares at the sketch himself while I stare at him. He's much nicer to look at than any art I've ever created. Even the ones of him, they'll never compare to his beauty.
"I'll take you." He mumbles, setting the sketchbook back by his journal, cuddling further into me and the couch. I grin to myself as I reach up and gently brush my fingers over his jaw. "We'll go one day and maybe I'll propose." He chuckles, a small laugh escaping my lips as I shake my head. "And then we can tell our kids how sick it was, both of us soaking wet with everyone clapping for us." He continues, my heart thumping loudly in my chest.
"Since when are you some hopeless romantic?" I laugh, siting up and glancing down at him as he grins up at me, shrugging his shoulder innocently.
"It's always been inside of me, sweetheart." He teases. I roll my eyes and Harry smiles sweetly, reaching up to brush my hair behind my ear, the movement causing goosebumps to cover my body. "I just had to be sure you were the right one, nobody gets to see that side of me." He laughs.
"I'm so honored." I reply teasingly. He shakes his head and stares up at me with a grin still occupying his lips, his dimples etched into his cheeks. "Do you really want to have kids with me one day?" I ask after a moment, maneuvering myself to lay beside him again.
"I do." He answers smoothly, running his fingers through my hair and down my arm, repeating the movements mindlessly as he stares out at the city that hides the setting sun. "Two of them, both girls." He continues, my heart melting at the mere imagine of Harry spending time with children, let alone ours.
"I want a boy and a girl." I tell him, watching as he simply shakes his head, his lips tugged into a smile as he stares forward.
"I think you can muster up two girls for me, sweetheart." He mumbles, a small scoff escaping my lips as he giggles and watches me as I sit up to look at him with amusement. His eyes sparkle up at me causing me to shake my head and chew the inside of me cheek.
"What about names?" I ask, Harry sighing as he plays with my fingers, obviously thinking hard about this decision. Harder than I expected actually.
"I want a little girl named Poppy, that's all I want." He answers after a moment. I can't control the stupid smile that grows on my lips at the sweet name he picked out. "You pick the other one." He whispers, watching me intently.
"For a boy. . . Sebastian. And for another girl. . ." I trail off, glancing over at the darkening sky before back to Harry. "Eleanor." I voice, Harry staring at me for a moment before grinning wildly. "Why are you smiling at me like that?" I laugh shyly, Harry shaking his head.
"I can't wait to have a little baby Clover running around, hopefully two." He shrugs, sitting up and pulling me to sit between his legs, his hands holding my waist. "We can start now." He mutters all too seriously.
"We absolutely can not." I laugh, Harry pouting at me causing me to smile and shake my head. "We can't have babies yet, H." I laugh, gently cupping his cheeks and leaning forward, placing a gentle kiss to his lips.
"I don't think I ever imagined I'd be having this conversation with someone." He mumbles quietly. I sink my teeth into my bottom lip, gently stroking my thumb over his jaw.
"Me either, but I'm glad it's you." I reply. He swallows and pulls my face closer to his, brushing his lips over mine as he sighs, leaning his forehead against my own. "I'm proud of you, H, baby." I whisper.
He doesn't reply and instead attacks my mouth with his own, pulling me down to lay on top of him.
I hadn't really ever thought about kids before, mostly because my mother liked to push the idea on me so I got used to ignoring it all together. I also hadn't thought about having kids with Harry, I mean I don't really know what to feel. Is this what love is? I have no clue. Although it was cute to see him talk about kids and having them with me, I don't know if it's just a spur of the moment. So I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
