So, here's how my year has gone so far....
The drum major (still crushing ngl) had to get surgery on his knee bc he messed it up while singing karaoke to Careless Whisper.
And I'm in Jazz Band now, which is really fun and the drum major is in that class.
And today, I was looking at tango music for one act with our director, and there was a trumpet in one of them. Out of nowhere, the drum major said he could play the music, and it caused me to laugh. He looked me dead in the eyes and said if he had my Yamaha trumpet, he could play it. He cares enough to know the brand of my trumpet! And I've fallen for him just a little harder now ;)
