So, last Friday, we had a compliment jar, and I anonymously told my crush that he was nice and that I'd tell him to break a leg when we went to competition, but we kinda needed him to walk lol. I also complimented everyone else at least once, and a few of them got some laughs. I also complimented everyone and subtly said something about how I still kinda feel left out. Only the other sound tech knew I said that bc she recognized my handwriting.
So far this week, I've been writing sound cues in a script for my co-sound tech. And I've been cueing lines for the actors. And learning the blocking for the girl I'm understudy for. Who won't be here on the day of our clinic, so I'm filling in.
Our Director thanked the people who have been calling lines (me) and said that it is not a fun job at all (I can vouch for that). She said that you had to pay close attention and for the actors to keep those people in mind when they write their compliments on this Friday. (We'll see if they actually do.)
It's been almost 4 months since I realized I had a crush on the drum major. A crush is only supposed to last for 4 months, but my feelings have only increased for him 😅😅😅😅

P.S. I also got 3rd in round 1 for poetry last week and 4th in round 2. Idk how the drum major did tho....but neither of us advanced to finals.
