So, today I was filling in for the role I auditioned for in OAP, and I got to tell my crush (the drum major) that he was cute!!!!
I mean, it was written in the script, but it still counts, right? And he said his line ("she thinks I'm cute") unlike he's said it any other time before, so idk if that means anything....
He also borrowed my pencil to mark in his tiny notebook/journal thing he has for Poetry, and while I was working on my own poetry in the free time I had in that class, I looked up and he was looking at me (again, idk what that means)....
But, since he's kinda crippled with his knee and everything, I've been helping him by holding doors, carrying his satchel when asked, handing him laptops, paper, his jacket, his scarf, and/or his gloves (also when asked). And at one point, he reluctantly asked me to go grab his satchel from the black box bc his friend wouldn't do it, but he didn't want to make me to at first! That's gotta count for something, right?
I seriously hope he likes me back even though it doesn't seem too likely at the moment.

P.S. today in One Act, the drum major's friend (that wouldn't grab his satchel the other day) called for another girl to fill in for the role I'm understudy for (the only reason he called her name was bc she filled in yesterday bc I was working with sound). Anyways, the drum major was like, "Nah, Belle's got it." And that means either A) he's just observant, or B) he likes me enough to notice me.
P.P.S. I've been walking with him and one of the other trumpet players to Jazz Band, and today on the walk, we talked about relationships. I was like, "and then there's me, going 'what's a relationship'?" And the drum major was like, "trust me, you don't want one" or "trust me, they're not worth it" or something completely different. idk for sure bc the other trumpet player started talking really loudly about her relationship experience (and how they seem appealing at first and then after a few weeks it's just not worth it or something like that).
