I got sang happy birthday to again, but in my Spanish class this time. In band, I talked with the other girl trumpet about how our section leaders can be trashy....and in jazz band we heard the percussionist's solo called "Hi Ho, Simpson" by Alan Abel. Afterwards, I goofed around and played the xylophone and timpani with said percussionist and the saxophone player. Needless to say, it was moderately fun.
In theatre, quite a bit happened. I talked with a lot more people than none (including the drum major)! At one point I said that no one cared about me, and the drum major was like "I've been there, Belle."
I also offered to help the girl I'm an understudy for learn to roller skate for her part in the play. The same girl also came into the office, where I was working on sound, and said that she just wanted me to know that she loved me (platonically, of course), that I was a blessing in her life, and that she was so lucky to have me in her life. And one of the seniors has thanked me the past couple of days for holding the door open for him. I also worked on the sound show quite a bit.
I also opened up to one of the crew members about my moderate depression after they(idk what pronoun to use lol 😂) asked me if I was okay. I said no, and they asked what was wrong and I said "I honestly don't know." They said they related to that on a whole other level lol. My fellow sound tech gave me a hug and it was weird, so I explained it with the lack of affection I've had my whole life, so....
And after we were dismissed, I walked past the drum major, who was unlocking his truck. He said, "have a good night, Belle." And I replied with, "you too."
