I spent the theatre class learning the blocking for the part I'm understudy for. The actual actress was really nice (I already knew her), but I got to know her better than I did before.
I found her insta, and she followed me back. Which made my day! :)
I also spent my evening marking my script for the acting role, and putting the sound script in a nice binder and decorating it. And I put my own script in an old binder I had.
And now I get to act as my crush's love interest tomorrow and on clinic day bc the girl won't be here....I just hope that, despite all the odds placed against me, that one day I can call that drum major mine. Bc I know it's more than just a crush. I like him, a lot; almost to the point where I could call it love.

(P.S.) the girl I'm understudy for and the drum major were bickering back and forth bc she wanted to show me how one scene would work and he didn't want to, and she was like, "do it for Belle!" And he was like, "it's not that I don't like Belle, I mean, she's my favorite trumpet. Besides (name of the most talented trumpet player we have). You can't just ignore talent like that." :)
