Still being cautious, you slipped the ring in your pocket and threw the cloak over your shoulders. You left the common room to find Severus. You found him in his classroom reading. He looked up at you and smiled, noticing you wearing the new cloak
Severus- do you like it?
Y/N- I love it
Severus- wonderful
You reached down into your pocket and pulled out the golden ring. You held it out to Severus and dropped it into his palm
Severus- what's this?
Y/N- it was given to me
Severus- did they say who it was from?
Y/N- all there was was a tiny piece of paper, it said "TMR"
Severus turned his head slowly to look at you
Severus- say that again?
Y/N- TMR?
He then looked scared
Y/N- who's TMR Severus?
He got up and put the ring in his pocket
Severus- i'll be back, in the meantime, go spend some time in Hogsmeade
Y/N- I thought only third years and over could go?
Severus- you have my permission
Y/N- oh, okay. Thank you Severus
You hugged him before running down the hall

You walked around Hogsmeade wearing your new cloak over your head as fresh snow fell. You looked in all the bright, colorful store windows as kids laughed with their friends. You felt kind of upset but also happy. You walked away with your head low. As you walked around Hogsmeade, you thought about a few different things. As you wandered around lost in your own thoughts, you were snapped back when you felt a snowball hit your back.
