That next day you weren't as happy and excited as you used to be. You had an upset look sewn on your face as your head hung low. You were walking to breakfast when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned to see

Tears swelled in your eyes as you ran from them and into the girls bathroom. You stayed in there for who knows how long, crying. Thankfully classes haven't begun for another week. You were resting your head in your knees, soaking the cloak wrapped around you in tears, when you heard a knock. You lifted your head

Severus- Y/N...is that you..?

You smiled as soon as his voice hit your ears but it soon faded.

Severus- can you come out please..?

After a couple minutes of hesitation and waking your legs back up from their sleep. You went to the door and opened it. Severus stood there with an upset and worried face. You looked up at him, you felt tears forming in your eyes again. He knelt down in front of you and wiped them away. You then wrapped your arms around his neck and buried your head in his shoulder. His hand held the back of your head as his hand stroked your back

Severus- can you tell me why you're crying?

You took a deep breath as you opened your mouth

Y/N- I heard you and that blonde man talking... I didn't mean to but I could help it...

There was no response

Y/N- am I your daughter Severus?

He pulls you away to examine your tear soaked face. He looks away but then takes you to his classroom. You, confused and upset, sat on his chair

Y/N- Severus..?

Severus- it's not time...you're too young...

Y/N- what are you..

Severus- Obliviate

Your mind felt light. A couple minutes later, and the feeling of weightlessness went away, you looked up at Severus

Y/N- what are we doing here?

Severus- I was reminding you about your dosage

He hands you a familiar vile, which you accepted and drank

Severus- lets go to dinner, you must be hungry

Y/N- how did you know?

He grinned, then your stomach growled. He chuckled while you gave a guilty smile. He reached his hand out for yours. Your hand was tiny in Severus's hand but you didn't mind as the two of you walked to get food
