Tay's POV:

"MOM! Today is my birthday not my wedding day, okay? What's with all these preparation? Gosh! I'm not a kid anymore,"I could just whined as my mother wasn't listening to me.

"Just shut up. No matter how much you grow, you'll always be my cute little baby Tawan. Aishhh... I can't believe that you've turned in 20. You was so tiny back then in my arms... how come you're so big now,"there she goes.

It's been a ritual since my birth, celebrating my birthday no matter how much I protest. As the only heir of Vihokratana's family, I was being pampered a lot by my parents. Specially by my mom. What more can I say, she's a bit overprotective towards me.

"We're humans after all. There's no way we could be the same our whole life,"Joss's voice came from behind me.

"Ohhooo .... here's our logic boy came,"I mocked at him and he scowled at me.

"Swadee khrab aunty,"he hugged my mom.

"What are you doing here? Party will be start at the evening not now."

"Am I forbidden to come to your house before the party? Be great full that I'm here to help you,"Joss explained.

"Well what you'll do now? Everything is done already. So guess we don't need your help anyway. And one more thing, you never intended to help at my party. What you're up to,huh?"I raised my eyebrow.

"Ahh Tay stop bully him already. Joss don't mind him dear. You can come here anytime,"mom defend him.

"Yeah aunty Tay always bully me. I'm always victim here,"Joss pretend to be sad.

"Yaaaa... you already looks like a Thanos who would be dare to bully you?"

"Seriously!? I'm hulk according to Toy and right now I'm Thanos according to you. Why you everyone so mean to me? See aunty that's how I suffer everyday,"Joss whined like a kid.

"Cut the crap. You said you wanna help here, right? Now come with me I've some work for you,"I said already pulling his arm.

"No. I wanna help aunty in the kitchen,"he rejected.

"Nope, I can't let you. Or else you'll eat up everything and there will be no food for the guests,"I already dragged him half way while he was still protesting.

Joss spend some time here and did helped in some stuffs. He looks awfully happy today which reason I don't know. He went back to his home and will be come at the evening. Something crossed my mind and I immediately fished my phone from my jeans pocket. I called particularly someone who seemed so busy that he didn't even contacted me neither met me.

You guessed right. It's New. And I'm hearing the same damn voice since 2 days.

I don't like at all when he ignore me. Is it that hard just to inform me that he's busy or at least reply my messages? What is wrong with him?

I even got a feeling that he might not be attend my birthday party. But he said he'll come, right?

'How can I say no to you. Of course I'll be there. I have to. For this time's sake .'

I couldn't forget the way he looked into my eyes and said those words. That strange feeling... it's.. something.. that..so new to me.. that I can't describe. But right now I don't wanna think about these. I've to focus on the evening party which my parents held so dearly.
