I say you'll never know

The one who loved you so

No, you don't know me

No, you don't know me

"Y/N, I hope Happy here didn't give you much trouble on the ride over." Tony says, clasping the broad man on the back. He makes a noise in response.

"Oh, uh, no, he was great." I say, feeling uncomfortable, but trying to be as polite as possible.

"Good. You know, I know he can be a little too friendly and too talkative, but you eventually get used to it." Stark continues, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Happy walks off, leaving us alone.

"Is there a reason you asked me to wear my suit?" I ask, looking down.

"Right. That's because - well, I'll explain it while we walk." He says, and he leads me down another hallway of Stark Towers.

"What am I doing here exactly?" I ask, watching people walk down the hallways and give us curt nods as we do so.

"Well, I've gathered most of the Avengers - not the off-world ones, obviously - and they're here to meet you today." He says.

"And the suit?"

"Yeah, well, I have a flair for the dramatic." Tony and I reach the outside of a room and stop walking. He tells me the plan and leaves me outside to wait.

Sneaking out of a window, I make my way to the roof and wait there until I hear the cue. I shake my head, wondering how I got roped into this ridiculous plan, but fly down anyways, landing gracefully inside the room through an open window.

"Prophet, I'd like you to meet the Avengers. Avengers, meet Prophet." I give an awkward wave.

From the information that Tony and Natasha have given me, I'm able to identify some of the other Avengers.

Steve Rogers, or Captain America. Went into what Natasha refers to as "the ice," and came out many years later. Not included in her description: this dude is ripped.

Bucky Barnes, or The Winter Soldier. Was Steve's best friend back in whatever decade they used to live in until he was presumed dead. He also came back years later but was really evil for a while and under the influence of HYDRA.

Sam Wilson, or The Falcon. Steve's other best friend, who served in the army, and apparently helped Natasha and Steve when they were in some rough times.

Wanda Maximoff, or The Scarlet Witch. She became an Avenger after the whole Sokovia incident and has been part of the team ever since.

Dr. Bruce Banner, or the Hulk. Apparently, he's super smart, and has a couple control issues when it comes to his green friend.

Clint Barnes, or Hawkeye. One of the original six Avengers and can outshoot anyone when he has an arrow.

James Rhodes, or War Machine. Tony's best friend who's been an Avenger for almost as long as anyone else.
