Everybody was kung fu fighting
Those cats were as fast as lightning
In fact, it was a little bit frightening
But they fought with expert timing

"It's about time you got here," I say as Peter meets me on a roof in the middle of Queens.
"This is like old times," He says, sitting down beside me. We both wear our suits, afraid someone will see us.
"Old times?" I snort. "You mean last week?"
"Well... yeah," He says, chuckling. "Last week when you were just Prophet or Y/N from school."
"And you were just Spiderman or Peter from chem class." I reply, giving a small smile.
"And now look at us!" Peter says, and I can hear the giddiness in his voice. I open my mouth to say something, but a boom distracts us.
"Ugh, please don't let that be another weapon thing." I groan, standing up.
"I can't deal with another lecture from Mr. Stark," Peter adds, looking at me. "Do you need a ride?"
"No, I'm never doing that... swinging thing again." I say, crinkling my nose.
"It's more fun than you think," Peter replies.
"Not when there's a possibility you could drop me!" I exclaim, and we both laugh. Another boom distracts us and our heads snap towards the sound.
"Race you?" Peter says, and I grin.
"Only if you're willing to lose," I reply, and I fly upwards, making my way to the noise. I see Peter below me, swinging between buildings, and I surge forward, closer than he is. Peter swings to the spot just as I touch down, and I laugh.
"Call it a tie?"
"Why not?" I reply, shrugging. A scream interrupts us and I turn, realizing I have somehow forgot why we were here.
Peter and I run towards the floral shop which is currently being raided by some robbers.
"Hey!" Peter calls. "I know bees like flowers, but you guys should buzz off before this gets out of hand." I cringe at his unfortunate pun. "What?" Peter whispers, taking a fighting stand. "Was that not good?"
"Please never make a bee pun again."
"I was trying to make it relevant!" He exclaims as a man dives towards him. Using my powers, I push the man over to the side near the wall and Peter webs him up.
"Nice," I say, turning my attention towards the other two men. Peter shoots a web towards one of the guys as I pin up another, ducking a punch. I push him down towards the ground and use the twine on the ground nearby to pin his arms behind his back like makeshift handcuffs. For good measure, Peter webs him up, too.
"We're a good team," Peter says, smiling as the cops arrive.
"We are," I agree. "But as you know, I don't like dealing with people who could figure out who I am, so I'm out." I say, and Peter nods.
