Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there
You've got a friend

"Wait, what?" Betty's mouth drops open as we sit at the lunch table.
"Your mom knows?" MJ exclaims.
"And she didn't freak out?" Betty continues.
"Surprisingly, no. She said I could keep being Prophet as long as I stayed safe and told her what I was doing at all times."
"And you're okay with this?" MJ raises an eyebrow.
"Well, no, but it's nice not to sneak around." I say positively.
"Right." Betty says, but I can tell she doesn't believe me.
"Hey guys," Peter says, sitting down next to me. Ned takes a seat on the other side of Betty.
"Hey, Pete." I grin, and he smiles back. Ever since Peter and I started dating and Ned and Betty became a thing, we've been eating lunch together more often.
"I better go," MJ stands. "As much as I love being a fifth wheel, I have a student council meeting to get to. Enjoy your double date." She smiles as she leaves.
"Hey, speaking of double dates, how would you two feel about joining Ned and I for dinner tonight? Nothing too fancy or anything, just a cute place I found downtown that just opened called Boca." Betty asks.
"Tonight?" I ask, looking at Peter, who shrugs.
"Unless you guys are working or something." She says quickly. "I know you're both busy."
"No, I think we're available." Peter says, and Betty grins.
"Awesome!" Ned says.
"I'll send you guys the address and we can all meet there. How does that sound?" Betty asks.
"Great." I say.
"Cool." Betty says as bell rings.
"Well, I guess we'll see you guys later." Ned says as he and Betty stand. "Don't be late!" Peter laughs.
"We won't, Ned, I promise." Peter says, and Ned nods before he and Betty head to class.

Peter and I decide to walk to the restaurant together. It's not a very far walk, but I'm grateful that I decided to wear comfortable shoes.
The restaurant is significantly nicer than Betty had made it out to be, but wasn't too fancy that I felt underdressed.
"This place is awesome," Peter says, looking around.
"I think I see Ned and Betty," I say, my eye catching the top of a fedora. We make our way over to them and the grin when they see us.
"Hey guys!" Betty stands, giving me a hug. I squeeze back.
"Hey!" I exclaim.
"This place is amazing." Peter says. He pulls my seat out for me before sitting down himself.
"Isn't it? I read about it online." Betty says.
"And all the food here looks awesome," Ned continues, looking over his menu.
"It does." I agree. "So I feel like we haven't been able to hang out in a while with you guys. What has everyone been up to?"
"I've been super busy with looking into colleges." Betty starts as she peels over her menu. "And school in general, because junior year is exhausting. What about you guys?"
"Well, I've been busy with work," I say.
"Wait, you actually are an intern, right? Like I know Peter's an intern, but you're an intern?" Ned asks, and I nod, laughing.
"Yes, I'm an actual intern. Unfortunately for me, I don't have any super crazy powers or whatever." I say, and Peter and Betty give me a knowing smile. "But I like what I do."
"What do you do?" Ned asks.
"Well, I stay behind on missions and tell everyone where they need to go, do paperwork, get Tony coffee, stuff like that." I explain. Not a complete lie.
"That's so cool. So you've met all of them?" Ned is clearly interested, and Peter frowns.
"I've met all of them, too." He points out.
"Yeah, but I already know that! I want to hear about Y/N and the Avengers." Ned says, and I laugh.
"They're all very nice. I guess I would have to say I'm closest with Natasha and Tony because I work with them the most." I say.
"Do you know who Prophet is?" Ned asks.
"Yes." I reply calmly. If I don't freak out, maybe he won't know it's me. I'm a pretty good liar, right?
"Peter won't tell me who she is." Ned frowns. I take a sip of water. "You know, for a while I thought she was you-" I try not choke on my water, coughing a little. "-But I know it isn't. I'm sure one of you would have told me by now. You guys are terrible at keeping secrets." We all laugh, breaking the tension.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Penis Parker and his posse." I groan, turning around to see Flash Thompson, a smug look on his face.
"I'm surprised they let you in Flash," I say, my voice cold, "I thought they had a strict no douche-bag policy here." Flash scoffs.
"Well- well-" He stutters.
"Mhm. Maybe while you think about your comeback, you can go sit at your table, though I doubt we'll be here when you come back with a good one." I give him a smile, and he glares, silently moving over to his table.
"That was awesome! Peter, your girlfriend is awesome. Y/N, you are awesome." Ned gushes, and I laugh.
"Hey, what about me?" Betty cries. Ned turns to her.
"You're awesome, too," He says, and she blushes and he leans in for a kiss.
"Oh, gross! Guys, we're eating." Peter exclaims, and I laugh.
"Yeah, you don't see us frenching in the middle of the restaurant." I add, giggling.
"Enough with the PDA!" Peter finishes, and Ned and Betty break it up, laughing.
"God, you guys are good at that." Ned says.
"Yeah, you two sapped all the sexual tension out of the room in, like, a second." Betty giggles.
"Why was there sexual tension in the room to begin with?" I exclaim, and everyone breaks into fits of laughter again.
