I'll be on your side forevermore
That's what friends are for

"I'll see you later, right Peter?" I ask as we walk from chemistry to lunch.
"No, I don't usually stop by Stark Towers unless Mr. Stark needs me for something." He says, and I frown.
"Oh," I reply.
"Don't worry," He says quickly. "I'm sure we'll be going on missions and hanging out again soon. Like... tomorrow?" I smile.
"Tomorrow sounds great." I reply, and we split up as I make my way to Betty and MJ and he makes his way to Ned. I get quizzical looks from MJ and Betty as I sit.
"What the hell was that about?" MJ asks as I take out my lunch.
"What was what about?" I ask innocently.
"You and Peter. Talking." Betty clarifies.
"Oh," I say, as if we all didn't know what she was talking about. "Oh, yeah we were just talking about chem stuff."
"Right," MJ says. "Chem stuff."
"How was meeting the Avengers?" Betty asks, and I'm grateful for the subject change.
"Yeah, was Captain America like?" MJ questions. "Is he like how he in those gym videos?" I scoff.
"Captain America is very nice," I reply with a smile. "He's not as... spangly as in the videos, but he's definitely All American."
"What about Thor?" Betty asks.
"Thor didn't make an appearance." I answer.
"That's too bad," Betty frowns. "I've seen pictures of him on the internet and he's so good looking."
"Godly good looking?" MJ raises her eyebrows and Betty nods enthusiastically. I laugh.
"I promise one day I'll twist Tony's arm and I'll get him to let you guys come up to the tower," I promise. "Because P- Spiderman got to bring his friend once." I say, recalling a story Peter told me last night when we were texting.
"That would be amazing!" Betty exclaims. MJ doesn't say anything, but she smiles.
"I can't believe you're Prophet," She says, shaking her head.
"Still?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. She shrugs.
"One day I'll get used to it." She says, and I smile.
"I'm not so sure I'm used to it myself." I look over at Peter, who catches my eye and smiles. I smile back.

"No, you're not putting enough weight into it," Clint says, repositioning my body as I hold my fists up, prepared to throw another punch. "You have the punch itself down, but you could use so much more power if you really use your entire body, not just your arm." I nod, punching the bag in front of me with more force than last time.
