My timeline is a mess but it's fine

Cara rolled over, Sky's body lazily pressed against her's as he slept. His red hair was disheveled and his mouth was open ever so slightly as he slept. Cara propped her head up against her hand as she ran her other hand through his hair. After years of her doing that, it didn't even wake him anymore. She reached for her phone when she heard it ping.

Anni:
Hey guys, I love you.

It was the sibling group chat. Albert's phone number was still in it, nobody could bring themselves to remove it, even after all these years.

Karl:
He would smack us for still being upset. But I love you too.

Anni:
I can't help it. This day still hurts.

Karl:
I know right? We're the best.

Cara:
My kids are probably gonna wake up soon. I'll talk to you guys later.

Karl:
Imagine having kids?

Anni:
All the responsiblity

Cara:
Haha. Wait till you have your own.

Anni:
Who says I'm having kids?

Cara:
Me, because I'm not having more kids to satisfy mother's image of having like, 20 grandkids.

Anni:
Ya know, that's fair.

Karl:
You just need to have like, 16 more kids, easy!

Anni:
Says the man

Karl:
Yeah, not my brightest moment.

Cara:
Really? I couldn't tell

Karl:
Yeah, I could hear the sarcasm through the phone with that one...
