So, Virgil had offered to be the sacrificial lamb and be the distraction. He offered that because the zombies don't care about him but... that was then. This was now. And he was panicking... BIG TIME! He felt a hand touch his shoulder jumped.

"You... You don't have to do this Virgil." Virgil looked over to see Patton giving him a reassuring smile and he frowned. "Even if what you told me was true..."

"It is." Patton frowned as Virgil just sighed looking up at the mess of zombies he was about to just waltz into. "and I do, Patton. How else are you going to get past them?"

"We'll find a way..."

"Before Janus expires?" Patton cringed at his word choice but Virgil just laughed. He must have been too used to how the doctor spoke. It didn't really matter much anyway. They were all nothing but meat. To zombies... to other humans. Life was nothing but a terminal disease for which there was no cure. At least... that was before the zombies came into the picture. Now there was a cure... that is if you didn't mind losing all sense of yourself and eating human brains as you rot. Virgil didn't really like either option. "I'll... I'll be ok. Zombies don't want me."

"That's not what I'm worried about." Virgil frowned as Patton took his hand carefully. "It wasn't that long ago you'd have an attack just by knowing they were close."

"That was before I was thrown into a room filled with them." Patton's eyes went wide as Virgil pulled his hand free. "Go help the others. I'll be ok." Patton nodded sadly before jumping down to join the others. Virgil just sighed as he pulled my hood up. He always did feel safer with his hood up. Besides people can't see his hair and eyes with it up, not that being mistaken for a zombie matters much right now.

Virgil took a deep breath before jumping down and tensed up hearing Roman scream out for him. Roman much not have been expecting Virgil to just jump right into the fire. The zombies, of course, heard the ruckus and started to try and get through the cars. It wasn't working. Virgil slipped past the zombies careful not to touch any of them... for personal reasons... and hurried over to the pile. He looked over to see Roman just watching from up top the other cars and frowned. Virgil shook himself from his thoughts quickly getting the door open. Only to start freaking out. How was he supposed to get it on? Shit...

No. He could do this. He had to do something anyway. Virgil had seen Daniel hotwire a car plenty of times. He could do this. He just... He just had to move damn it. Virgil took a deep breath and started to mess with the wires. Things would spark but... He never had to do this before. He probably should have asked how.

The car burst to life catching the attention of a few z's and Virgil started to smile. He blasted the radio volume and searched for Kai's station. He was an ass but Virgil had to admit, he had good taste in music. As soon as Virgil found it music tore the place and he looked up to see the zombies coming for him. He frowned and tried to think of what to do. It wasn't enough. He needed more noise. Virgil jumped out of the car and slowly made for another in the pile doing the same thing until more music rang through. It still wasn't enough. To many Z's were ignoring him. He jumped to one of the top cars, only to jump slightly at a zombie freaking out in the front seat.

"Sorry about this." Virgil took his gun out and shot it right in the center of its forehead. He didn't exactly know why he had to say sorry first. Maybe it was because it was stuck? Or... maybe it was because it didn't actually try and attack him. It just didn't feel right to kill it. Virgil honestly was just confused over it all. He didn't know what was going on anymore. "And this..." He smashed the zombie's face into the wheel causing the horn to go off. "And this." Then pulled the seat lever making it so the zombie had to stay that way. When Virgil turned to see the rest of the zombies, he couldn't help but smile. Every single one was finally raging and attacking the cars. He turned to see Roman staring at him on the wall still and he frowned. That was until someone dragged Roman down. Why was Roman watching him anyway? Why did it matter? I mean...

It means he knows now but... Even still it doesn't matter.

Virgil watched as they carefully got Jan over the wall. He watched as they all started to move. He even watched when Roman paused and looked back over at him, this look in his eyes he couldn't quite figure out. Virgil didn't move any. He didn't want to risk it. If he moved now and something happened... then everyone else in the group would all be put at risk. Which was exactly the problem... Even with all that noise as few stragglers were noticing something was up. Virgil could see them slowly turning around and he couldn't stop the panic that burst through him.

"NO!" He yelled out without thinking. The few zombies froze as the others quickened their pace. Virgil was literally panting as the zombies started to look back over at him with an almost confused look in their eyes, making Virgil smile. "That's it. Focus on me." The other zombies slowly joined the herd that was trying to destroy the cars and Virgil frowned. "Great... Now I have to explain to Roman."

But how does one explain something not even they understand?
