Soobin ran after the intruder, he didn't know what their appearance looked like, but in the corner of his eye, he spotted a figure sprinting away from him. Thinking that is his best chance, he quickly tailed after them.

Whoever it was, they definitely were skilled at running. But Soobin didn't care at the moment, all he wanted to do was to catch the person who caused him so much pain, the person who brought him so many late nights of constant worrying and anxiety, the person who harmed Yeonjun.

With rage and fury flowing through his veins, Soobin ran as fast as his legs could carry him. He managed to get a better hold of the mysterious person to now make out that it was a girl who attempted to ambush him.

Attempting to lose Soobin, she took many sudden turns, but it wasn't any use as he was still strongly tailing behind her. She then began to run down the emergency staircase, which Soobin guessed, where she wanted to make an escape to the car park.

After reaching the lowest level, she attempted to push open the door. It was locked. Just as Soobin was about to approach her, she pulled a razor blade from her pocket and held it straight in front of his face.

"STAY BACK!" She spoke, pointing the knife in front of Soobin. He was in a tight position, it was obvious as to who was in the disadvantaged side; he was unarmed with no sort of tools to defend himself and nobody to help him. Try fighting? He could barely land a solid punch at someone, let alone a person carrying a literal knife.

It felt as if it was the end of the world for him until he heard the sounds of what seemed like a dozen people rushing towards them from the stairs above.

"THIS IS OFFICER PARK FROM DIVISION 51 OF SEOUL'S YONGSAN POLICE STATION AND YOU, MISS, IS CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR THE ATTEMPTED MURDER OF CHOI SOOBIN," The male in a police suit spoke, showing what seemed like his police ID card. More of them came running down the stairs as they each grabbed Hyun Joo by the arm.

"YOU GOT IT ALL WRONG, I DID NOT TRY TO KILL HIM! LET GO!" Screamed Hyun Joo, resisting hard against the police's grip, which, of course, did no effect to them at all as they dragged her away, the echoes of her screams getting less audible as they brought her towards ground level.

"Are you okay?" Asked Officer Park, turning to Soobin.

"Huh- oh yeah I'm fi-" Soobin said. What he meant to say was "I'm fine" but for some reason, he couldn't bring himself to do so.

"It's okay, that must've given you quite the shock, let's head back up alright?"

Soobin gave him a nod and followed him up the stairs, feeling a little shaken and baffled by what kind of stance he just pulled off. Him? Chasing after a criminal? What was going on in his mind to make him do that?

His thoughts were drowned out by bustling atmosphere in the hotel lobby where Yeonjun was already there, his bags on the ground and he was finally changed out of that hideous hospital gown.

"We're going back home now?" Soobin asked.

"The guards have been knocked out and there isn't anyone that is able to replace them at the moment. With the safety conditions like this, it would be safer to head home. Mr Jang is already outside," Yeonjun explained.

"But- wha- ho-" Soobin said, at least a million questions were circling his mind but he couldn't figure out which to ask first.

"Let's get going," Yeonjun said, grabbing Soobin by the arm as he led him outside where Mr Jang was waiting for them. A few people behind them were helping to load all the bags into the boot of the car.

"But what about-" Soobin said once they were inside the car, he was interrupted by a finger being placed on his lips.

"It has been a rough night, I'll explain everything tomorrow," Yeonjun said, offering his shoulder to the male.

Soobin rested his head onto Yeonjun's shoulder. Everything was happening way too fast for him to be able to process what had just happened. Surrendering to his exhaustion, Soobin's eyelids drooped as he fell into a deep slumber.
