33 | Practise makes Perfect

Yeonjun woke up the next day to realise that he has not knowingly slept on the table for the night, but the thing that shocked him the most was to see  Soobin next to him, still fast asleep.

Yeonjun lifted his hand and reached for Soobin's hair, it looked as fluffy as a cloud, he wanted to ruffle it- just once- just as his fingertips were about to touch the male's hair, Soobin's eyes started to flutter open. Yeonjun immediately withdrew his hand and pretended to still be asleep.

Soobin rubbed his eyes to see the other male still asleep, he brushed Yeonjun's bangs out of his delicate face ( Yeonjun tried with all his might not to blush or grin ), admiring his dainty facial features for a good second. With a stretch, Soobin got out of the room and went back to his to prepare for the day.

Once the male was out of sight, Yeonjun jolted up awake, his face flushed with crimson red.

The two males spent the rest of the day shooting scenes for the drama, constantly going from one place to another for shoots. They spent the day mainly shooting their individual scenes, the two only had one shoot together which was at 7 pm which was their last shoot for the day.

After what seemed like their 100th take, the last scene was done, Yeonjun and Soobin thanked the passing crew and got ready to head back.

"Let's takeout food, I'm exhausted," Yeonjun suggested, letting out a yawn.

"Sure," Soobin agreed, stretching his hands.

"Ah! Yeonjun, Soobin! Here's the script for the shoot on Monday, good work today by the way," Secretary Kim said, running towards the two carrying a pile of papers.

"Thank you, Secretary Kim," The two males said together.

After arriving home, Soobin immediately plopped himself onto the couch, finally being able to take a break from their hectic schedule today.

"Go and wash up, once you're done let's have dinner together," Yeonjun said.

"Okay," Soobin groaned as he got up and wobbled upstairs to his room.

After Soobin got changed he headed downstairs, Yeonjun was already there, microwaving the food and plating it.

"Oh, you're done, come down and let's eat," Yeonjun said, taking the food out of the microwave and placing it onto a plate.

Soobin took a seat by the dining table staring at the food in front of him, up until now he just realised that he's always one step behind; it was always Mr. Choi who was doing things for him.

"Why the sulking look?" Yeonjun asked.

"It-it's nothing," Soobin replied, getting himself together.

"Do you want to go through the script together later? It looks like a lot so let's practise, that way we can be more familiar with the lines," Yeonjun continued.

"Sure," Soobin replied, it was a good idea but Soobin didn't exactly feel comfortable letting Mr. Choi see him act without prior practice.

After washing the dishes, the two went to the living room and sat on the opposite ends of the couch, reading the first page of the script. As they went through several pages, Soobin felt his confidence build-up, perhaps this wasn't too bad Soobin thought to himself.

Soon, they got to the last page of the script,

"Min Joon I need to talk to you," Yeonjun recited.

Min Joon gives Daniel a nod and the both of them head outside of the classroom.

"What is it?" Soobin asked.

"I've been thinking for a while that- I don't think we're just friends," Yeonjun continued without flinching,

Soobin could feel his face go hot.

"What do you mean?" Soobin read with a slight stammer in his voice.

"You're more than just a friend to me, Min-Joon,"

"What are you trying to say?"

Soobin's eyes then fell to the next line, feeling his heart somersaulting.

Daniel moves in for a kiss.

Daniel: I like you Kang Min-Joon.

Soobin then looks up to see Yeonjun's face no longer than an inch away from his. He leaned in closer, tilting his head slightly. Yeonjun's face was too close to the male's for Soobin to function properly as he began to feel light-headed.

"I like you, Choi Soobin," Yeonjun whispered.

Before Soobin got the chance to reply, he felt a pair of soft lips meeting his.
