7 | A Coincidence

"Secretary Kim, could you explain in more detail about the person you chose for our lovely Mr Choi?" Bang Si Hyuk asked secretary Kim eagerly.

"Yes, he's, without a doubt, the most beautiful person I've seen since the last 5 years of my life, aside from Mr Choi of course," she laughed. "But yes, he doesn't seem too far off from the criteria you gave, and he's the best candidate I've spotted today,"

"Hmm, I trust you Secretary Kim, after all, your taste in men is impeccable," Bang Si Hyuk joked.

"Ah right, other than his looks, his height is definitely quite notable as well. I'd say he's nearly 6'1?" She presumed.

Bang Si Hyuk' eyes widened by the number she just gave before spluttering out loud, "6'1?!"

"Yes, around that number," she replied coolly.

"You really outdid yourself, Secretary Kim!" Praised Bang Si Hyuk enthusiastically as he gave her a light pat on the shoulder. "I actually forgot to remind you that we needed Mr Choi's date to be nearly as tall as him too. The person you speak of definitely sounds perfect for Mr Choi," He continued with a satisfied face.

Staring down at the business card the lady handed him earlier, Soobin scanned it thoroughly; just to make sure that he wasn't about to fall for some scam.  He searched up "TYU entertainment" on the internet just to be sure, and to his utter surprise, such a company exists. With slightly mixed feelings- though feeling a whole lot more convinced- Soobin got up as he prepared to head out.

He didn't really have anything fancy or formal to wear, other than his prom suit from last year, so he guessed that would work.

It was a sober navy-blue coat worn over a buttoned white shirt. The coat he wore was buttoned up til' his upper abdomen, leaving the black-tie he wore visibly. He left the lapels of the coat folded outwards, giving him a much more approachable look.

He chose trousers with the same navy blue colour as his suit, to make the whole piece more connected. And finally, pairing it with a black belt to tie his whole fit together. Once he was satisfied with his look, Soobin quickly gelled his hair into a mild, side slick hairstyle. He made sure his hair wasn't too heavy on the gel side, just so he could give off a much more natural look to his whole appearance.

Soobin quickly grabbed his phone, put on a watch, and headed out of his apartment to the TYU building.

"Wait... IM MEETING HIM TODAY?!" Yeonjun shouted just after his boss had delivered the news. This was all happening WAY too fast for the poor male to comprehend that this was actually real.

"In an hour to be exact," Bang Si Hyuk replied calmly.

"How on earth did Secretary Kim already find someone to be my 'blind date'? Shouldn't you guys shortlist a few candidates THEN choose the one out of the list? How could you choose someone on the spot?!" Yeonjun rambled quickly.

"Please calm down, we must have faith in Secretary Kim. Now please get dressed up as the male will probably arrive in 50 minutes from now," spoke Bang Si Hyuk, checking his watch which read: 7:05 pm.

Knowing his boundaries around his boss, Yeonjun let out a heavy sigh as he walked into the dressing room to get changed. He still found the idea of him meeting his "boyfriend for the next 5 months" on the same day he was told about it insanely mad.

Upon entering the room, his stylist immediately rushed towards him as he handed the latter an outfit hung by several cloth hangers. His stylist chose a black coat worn over a white T-Shirt, the coat wasn't buttoned which served to expose the white T-Shirt Yeonjun wore inside. After getting him a pair of black trousers to complement his coat, his stylist quickly gelled his hair into a middle parting.

As for accessories, he put on a simple chain necklace and a pair of silver-rimmed glasses.

"Mr Choi, I think we are done with your outfit for the day" His stylist, Kang Taehyun said.

"Thank you for your work once again Stylist Kang," Yeonjun said. He walked towards the mirror which displayed a reflection of his alluring appearance. Satisfied with his outfit, Yeonjun headed out of the dressing room towards the building's lounge where he would supposedly meet his "blind date".

After getting off the elevator and arriving at the lounge, Yeonjun was quickly stopped in his tracks as soon as he saw a certain someone walking through the building's entrance. He'd recognised that man anywhere. It was none other than that barista from the whole cafe incident earlier today.

Not gonna lie his looks are something extraordinary, Yeonjun thought to himself as he caught a glimpse of the man's prince-like looks.

What the fuck am I thinking? He quickly scolded himself, snapping out of his thoughts as Yeonjun noticed the male walking closer towards him.

"What are you doing here?" Soobin asked, confused as to why the man from the cafe is here.

"I should be asking you that," Yeonjun replied coldly.

"Excuse me?" Soobin replied genuinely confused.

Just before Yeonjun could open his mouth to come up with his retort, Secretary Kim and Bang Si Hyuk walked towards the two.

"Ah, how lovely! I see you guys have already met!" Bang Si Hyuk cheered happily. He looked at Soobin and gave him a pleased smile; he knew Secretary Kim wouldn't let him down.

"Excuse me?" Yeonjun repeated.

"Ah, right I forgot to tell you. Yeonjun, meet Mr Choi Soobin, who will be your date for the next 5 months!"
