"Wait let me get this straight," Hueningkai said, putting his fork down back down onto his plate. "You just figured out that your boyfriend's birthday is in two days and you want us to help you plan a surprise for him?"

Soobin nodded in response as he let out an exhausted sigh.

"I know, I feel horrible for just figuring it out too- I don't even know what to get him, let alone plan a surprise," He answered dismissively.

"Hey calm down, you got us, remember? I say we throw a small surprise party for him on the night of his birthday," Beomgyu suggested.

"Ooooh, that does sound fun, what do you think Soobin?" Hueningkai agreed, looking to Soobin.

"I guess that might work..." He replied.

"So, that begs the question..." Hueningkai said with a smirk on his face.

"Hm?"

"Do you want it to be a typical birthday surprise with loads of colorful decorations or a romantic dinner by candlelights?" Hueningkai asked, Beomgyu making kissy faces behind him.

"DONT SAY THAT SO LOUDL-"

"Hey, hey, we were just joking alright?" Hueningkai sniggered, placing a finger to Soobin's lips.

"Alright then, I say we go to a nearby mall after school to shop for some party supplies like confetti and balloons. It has been a while since we've hung out as well," Beomgyu suggested.

"Sounds like a deal,"

After their last class was dismissed, the three of them walked out of class and headed towards the main entrance , the crowds began to die down after few days the news has been released, it seems as if the paparazzi have given up too so they decided to walk out there today.

"What's with the crowd?" Beomgyu asked, noticing how the gates were literally bombarded with students.

"Dunno, let's have a look since we're on our way outside anyways," Hueningkai said, pushing through the crowd.

The sight of what was outside the school's gates made Soobin's mouth drop.

"Ah! Soobin you're here!" Yeonjun called out, waving to the male as the screams of the crowd grew louder. Soobin didn't know how to react- it was honestly embarrassing to see everyone's head turn towards his direction.

"I'd never take your boyfriend for the type to make grand entrances," Beomgyu muttered bitterly.

"What are you doing here?" Soobin whispered to Yeonjun.

"To pick up my boyfriend duh," Yeonjun replied as if Soobin's question was a no brainer.

"Oh," Soobin replied, the sea of students behind him ogling at the two as if they've just stepped into a movie scene.

"Soobin, tell your boyfriend that we've already made plans," Hueningkai said as he nudged Soobin's elbow.

"Yeonjun, it was very nice of you to pick me up- but er- I've already made plans with Beomgyu and Hueningkai," Soobin explained to Yeonjun, gesturing towards the two males.

"Oh, great! Can I tag along then? This would be a great opportunity to get to know your friends" Yeonjun suggested with a smile.

Beomgyu and Hueningkai quickly diverted their eyes from Yeonjun's gaze, Soobin too didn't think this last-minute hangout was a good idea either but it seemed useless to reason with the male.
