12 | His Guard Let Down

The morning sun began to rise over the horizon, awakening dawn. Its golden rays stretched across the blue sky, summoning a new day. Droplets of rain from the top of Yeonjun's bedroom window from the stormy night before gently pitter-pattered onto the outer sill of the window.

Yeonjun 's eyes fluttered open- he winced at the blinding sea of light, entering his room from his window as he rubbed his eyes, still in a daze from being awake this early in the morning. He could feel his head throb with pain, his eyes puffy and his nose stuffy- probably the aftermath from crying the night before.

I guess my astraphobia isn't getting any better, I'll need to see Dr. Lee later.

Yeonjun looked to his right; where Soobin laid, asleep. He jumped out of bed.

"WHY ARE YOU HERE-" Yeonjun screamed.

The poor boy immediately jolted up, awaken by Yeonjun's shout.

Soobin searched his mind for the most rational way to explain the reason as to why he slept in Yeonjun's room last night. What could he say? You were screaming so I came to check on you? You didn't look too well so I decided to keep you accompanied?

"Are you okay now?" Soobin asked.

"WELL I'M DEFINITELY NOT CONSIDERING HOW YOU BARGED INTO MY ROOM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, you didn't do anything to me- Did you?" Yeonjun looked down at his pajamas, still intact and unharmed.

Soobin rolled his eyes at Yeonjun.

"You didn't look too well last night, so I came to check up on you," Soobin explained.

silence fell over the room.

"Did you have a bad dream last night?' Soobin asked Yeonjun, looking at him in the eyes.

His eyes are swollen

"Whether I had one or not, it's none of your business. Next time, don't you dare enter my room regardless of the circumstances." Yeonjun replied coldly, he proceeded to get out of bed and head towards the door.
