Darah inched forward in her chair, desperately wanting his knowledge.

'I'm afraid I cannot reveal that information to you, Darah. Your father has put a spell on me to make sure I cannot tell you.'

'What?!' Darah shouted almost a little too loudly.

'I'm sorry, Darah. I know it would mean a lot to you but I simply don't think it would be right for me to tell you anyway.'

'But sir, my father would never tell me. He says we can't talk about that 'stuff!''

Lupin sighs. 'I'm sorry. I know it must be hard for you.' He pauses. 'You know, you look a spitting image of them both.'

She didn't know whether she felt happy about that or not. She wanted to know who her mother was. Badly. But she also knew it may change her life.

'Listen. With the spell on me I can't tell you anything but I did want to talk to you about what happened on the train.'

'Then why isn't Harry or Ron or Hermione here too?'

'Because I had a feeling you would ask more questions than just about the dementors.'

Darah shrugged. 'Fair enough.' She thought to herself.

'Are you feeling alright now?'

'Yeah, the biscuits really helped.'

'Good. Now something tells me you didn't just pass out from the dementor, did anything else, that was strange, happen?'

Darah thought back to that moment when the dementor came in. She thought about the scream and vague vision she had.
'I heard a voice.' She said at last, deciding to trust Lupin somewhat.

'Hm.' Lupin sat back in his chair and stroked his chin. 'Just a voice? Did it say anything?'

'Um.' She tried to look for the right words. 'I'm honestly not sure. I think I remember maybe hearing my name but I'm thinking back now and it's too much of a blur.'

'Alright, well if it comes to you I would be happy to talk again. You're free to go.' He smiled kindly and Darah got up to leave.

She met up with Harry, Hermione and Ron in the courtyard who were playing gobstones.

'What did Lupin want?' Harry asked her as she reached them.

'Stuff about the train and dementor.' She brushed it off and changed the conversation. 'So, who's winning?'

Then she felt a tight grip on her shoulder, pulling her around.

'Sorry, going to need to borrow Darah for a second.' It was Draco.

And before any of them could oppose, he pulled her away, into a corridor inside the castle.

'Where are we going?' Darah asked him, a little out of breath by the speed he was walking at.

'Somewhere quiet.' He murmured, concentrating on his whereabouts.

Finally they ended up down a quiet, abandoned corridor.

'Alright. You said if I wanted to talk seriously then I should do it later.' He looked around the room exaggeratively. 'And it's later.'

Darah looked at him with pure confusion. She never noticed it before but his eyes were shimmery, easy to get lost in. And his smile- his smile was so adorable.

She was about to engage in conversation when she heard footsteps coming their way.

'Quickly, we're not meant to be down here.' Draco ushered.
