'What is she doing here?' Draco scoffed, entering his house, avoiding Rose's presence.

'Glad to see you too.' She said sarcastically back at him, twirling her wand in her hand.

Narcissa flicked Draco on the arm and gave him a look. 'Rose is living here permanently now.'

'Bloody great.' He muttered to himself. 'Thought you were living in that Cauldron place in London?'

'The Leaky Cauldron?' Darah perked up at the name.

'Yeah.' Rose nodded. 'It's been hard since mother... well.' She swallowed and paused. 'But things were getting expensive and the night bus didn't want to haul me around forever.' She joked.

Darah didn't want to get any more involved in Rose's life considering she barely even knew her so she followed Draco who gestured her to come upstairs and dump her things, leaving everyone else behind.

'Just ignore her.'

'Is she your... friend?' She hesitated.

'No, more like... family. You know, distance relatives and stuff.' He brushed off the matter.

'Ah.' Darah nodded, still pretty nervous and cautious of her new surroundings.

Draco led her to his bedroom. It was the biggest and most grand room she had ever seen for a bedroom. The walls were painted grey and there were large windows with fancy, drawn curtains. Situated in the middle of the room was a four poster bed. She imagined this room was what the muggle king and queen would have. There was an antique look about it to fit the theme of the house but yet it was cosy and very much suited to Draco.

He dumped his stuff next to the wardrobe and summoned the house elf to put everything away for him. He explained that his old house elf was accidentally set free, at least that's what his father told him.

Finally, he took her to the room Darah would be staying in, it was just a room away from his, separated by a bathroom.

They opened the door and instantly a strange aroma sprang in their face. Draco scowled at the room, it was a mess. The bed was unmade, there were clothes all over the floor, makeup strewn everywhere.

'Rose!' Draco bawled angrily at the top of his lungs. He then lowered his voice back to normal again. 'I can't believe my parents let her stay here.' He complained.

Just then, Rose appeared by their side; clearly she could apperate and was therefore overage.

'What have you been doing in here?' Draco asked her angrily.

'Living?' She replied sarcastically.

Draco sighed, agitated. 'This is Darah's room. So piss off down the hall. I'm not having you sleep next door to me for the rest of my life.'

Rose gave him a sarcastic roll of the eye. 'Alright then, calm down love.' She held up her hands defensively. She pulled out her wand and swirled it around. All her mess gathered up and fell into their rightful places. 'I'll move the rest later.' She finished and disaperated again.

'She's different to what I remember at the party.' Darah laughed nervously, tucking her hair behind her ear.

'She's more fun when she's drunk.' Draco replied lazily. 'Any other time and she's just a nuisance.'

He gestured her to drop off her stuff and they left to go back downstairs.

As they entered the living room, Draco's family was sat together, talking about random things.

'So, Darah, who are your parents again?' Narcissa asked her as she came to sit down.

Darah wracked her brains trying to remember what she had told Lucius and Draco about her parents.
'Oh, my Dad works in the ministry.'

Lucius raised his eyebrows. 'I don't know any Lucie's that work in the ministry.'

Darah panicked a little. She really wanted to find out what sort of deal he had with Snape and why he was at the party but she also didn't want to give herself away.
'Yeah he's undercover.' She lied.

'Really?' Lucius wasn't convinced.

'Like in the muggle world?' Narcissa came in.

Darah nodded. 'Sort of. I'm not really meant to talk too much about it.'

'And what about your mother?' Narcissa continued.

Darah felt a lump rise in her throat. Thinking about her mother brought up recent memories with hers and Snape's argument.

'Mother-' Draco tried to say.

'I've never met her.'

'Oh.' She said simply, not really phased.

'Well.' Lucius slapped his knees and left the room, headed to the kitchen.

'We're going to the quidditch World Cup this year and we have an extra ticket for you to join us, I'm sure Draco would love if you came, isn't that right Drakey?' Narcissa looked at Draco with a half smile on her face.

'Y-yes.' He nodded, patting his hair down and avoiding eye contact.

'Oh and Rose, dear, we have an extra ticket for you too if you want to come along?'

Rose perked up at that, she was concentrated on some kind of puzzle she had in her hands. 'Quidditch? Oh no I don't think so... too many eyes on me, not really my thing.' She was fidgety.

'Eyes?' Darah questioned her choice of words.

'Too many people. Claustrophobia getting the best of me.' She huffed.

Darah still wasn't convinced, she definitely agreed with Draco that she was a lot more fun when drunk. How could anyone turn down a once in a lifetime quidditch match?
