The entire school was now gathered in the great hall. Makeshift beds were spread out, tightly packing everyone in together. They were on full lockdown.

Draco slept next to Darah. He turned over on his sleeping bag to face her. 'You alright, D?'

Darah didn't reply at first. 'I think so.'

Draco reached his hand out to her cheek and rubbed it with one finger. 'You had a little something on your face.' He grinned.

A week after the incident with Sirius Black, the school had returned to normal and quidditch finally began.

'You coming to watch the match?' Darah asked Draco who was sat on the sofa, doing last minute homework for Snape.

'Slytherin aren't playing. Maybe I'll catch the end of it. Dunno.'

'Ok then.' And she waved him goodbye.

The match was going so well until black figures loomed in the sky.

'Mione... are those what I think they are?' Darah said cautiously, pointing up at the sky.

Ron and Hermione followed her gaze. Suddenly Harry was tumbling out of the clouds at high speed.

Hermione screamed. 'HARRY!'

The three of them were on the edge of their seats but luckily Dumbledore slowed his fall and he came down softly.

They ran down to the field to see Harry as the rest of the players gathered around.

'I'm getting bored of this deja vu.' Darah panted as she reached him.

Dumbledore and the other professors had come to the scene too. 'He needs to be brought to the hospital wing. Immediately.' Dumbledore instructed.

Harry was quickly carried off the pitch and Hermione, Ron and Darah all rushed to follow along.

'Not so fast.' Snape had called behind them. They turned around. 'Darah, you are needed in my office.'

She huffed and then turned to her friends. 'It's fine. Give Harry and get well soon from me.' And they nodded and left.

Darah walked with Snape briskly into the castle. 'What's the problem?' She asked him.

He didn't reply until they reached his office. 'What did I say about hanging around with Potter?'

Darah made out for it to look like she was thinking hard. 'Not to hang around with him?'

'Well done.' He said sarcastically. 'And so why are you still doing it?'

'Because I happen to think he's a nice guy.' She answered sassily.

Snape sighed and sat down at his desk. 'Darah, I have rules in place for reasons.'
'You don't think I don't know about the incident on the train? Or you and Mr Malfoy?'

Darah perked up. 'How do you know about that- I mean, what with me and Draco?' She pretended.

'I've known you since you were born, Darah.' He said in a sort of sing song voice. 'I also happen to know a lot about that family. You are not to see Mr Malfoy, or Mr Potter, in that case, again.' He ordered.

'What?! No!' She shouted. 'Give me a good reason why not!'

'I cannot tell you, Darah.' He sighed.

'We've had this conversation before, Dad! Remember? You tried to stop me talking to him before but you couldn't. You said it yourself, there is no separating me and Harry. Or me and Draco.'

'I said that before but now it has gone on too long! Your relationships with the Gryffindors are too dangerous now and I cannot risk you getting hurt!' He slammed his fist down.

'I don't care! If I want to risk that, then I will, ok Dad? And it's something you just need to accept.' She argued angrily.

'No, it's not.' And he lifted his wand out of his cloak. 'Obliviate.' He whispered weakly.

'No...' she tried to say but it was no use. The spell had already taken place.

'I'm sorry, my daughter.' He bowed his head.

Darah left the room, almost automatically.

She finally got to the common room and she saw Draco still sat on the sofa, in front of the fire.

'So, who won? I swear if it was Potter...'

'The match ended. No one won.'

'Eh?'

Just then another Slytherin girl came through the door way. 'I can't believe Potter fainted.'

Draco gave a single laugh. 'He fainted again?!'

'Um... I guess?'

'You seem... a little off.' Draco said to her, concerned. 'Come sit.' He patted the space next to him.

'Er, ok.' She wondered over to him and sat down.

He put his arm around her shoulder and leant in. Darah instantly pulled it off. 'Um, what are you doing?' She said and moved away from him, further down the sofa.

'What?' He laughed, thinking it was a joke.

Darah looked at him with confusion.

Draco moved down the end of the sofa and went to stroke her face to which she slapped his hand back.

'D?!' He yelped. 'What's the matter with you?'

'What's the matter with you?!' She retorted in pure disgust.

'What?' Draco said, you could hear the hurt in his voice.

'Sorry, Draco, but I don't like you in that way um... we aren't even friends, I don't know what makes you think...' Darah tried to explain to him.

'You... you don't like me? But D...' he tried to squeeze her hand but she slapped him back again. 'Is this something to do with Potter?' He sneered.

'Harry Potter? Um... definitely not. I'm really confused why you're looking at me like that. Sorry, I'm just gonna...' She got up and left him and headed up into her dorm.

As soon as she left Draco grabbed a glass vase next to him and threw it to the ground, letting it smash into millions of fragments. Then, after, he buried his head in his hands he grabbed his wand, got up and went straight to the Gryffindor common room.
