'Draco!' Darah points his wand at him as soon as she enters the common room. Everyone falls silent.

Draco looks at her, his emotions unreadable. Impossible whether to know if he was sorry, scared or angry.

Darah walks closer to him, everyone's eyes fixed on her. 'What is wrong with you?' She speaks, the hurt noticeable in her voice.

Draco raises his hand up in the air and slowly lowers her wand for her. 'You don't want to be coming at me for this.'

Darah gives him another glare.

'Potter set the snake on you, you heard him.

Darah turns her head away from him, not able to look him in the eyes. She knew he was right, yet she still felt hurt.

She turned to go to her dorm. Everyone's eyes will still following her in shock. 'Alright, shows over!' She flings her arms in the air and stamps up the stairs.

She reaches her empty dorm room and closes the door gently behind her. Tears begin to drip down her face and she falls to the floor.

She berries her face in her hands and lets her emotions take over. She curses under her breath in annoyance.

A small knock at the door. Darah panics and frantically wipes her tears away. She gets up off the floor and moves over to her bed.

Draco enters. He scratches the back of his neck. 'I don't know if I'm meant to be in here.'

Darah looks at him, trying to hide her sadness. 'No I don't think you are.' Her voice a little high pitched.

He moves forward, into the room and closes the door behind him. He makes his way to Darah's bed, hovering above it until he decided to sit down.

He looks at her, unsure of what to say.

'Why are you even here?' She says with a hint of annoyance. Deep down Darah wanted some company, but she definitely didn't have Draco at the top of her list for that.

'Look Luci- er, Darah.' He starts and then lowers his voice into a mutter and looks down at the floor, scratching his neck again. 'Sorry about the snake.'

Darah just about manages to make out what he says. She doesn't reply.

'What'd Snape say?' He tries to fill in the awkwardness.

'Nothing. Absolutely nothing.' She complains. 'As per usual, he's useless.'

'I guess he is a bit.' Draco shrugs. 'Hey do you want to-'

'Draco! Get out!' Pansy storms in the room along with Millicent.

Draco hurries off the bed, patting it down quickly. He raises his hands up and bows his head to them as he walks past and out of the room.

'Thinks he owns the place.' Pansy shakes her head.

'Aren't you his girlfriend?' Darah looks at her with one eyebrow raised.

'Yeah, but it doesn't mean I want him all in our business, do I?' She snaps back.

'Alright, alright.' Darah backs off.

'Anyway. Are you ok?' Pansy and Millicent join Darah at the end of her bed.

She shrugs. 'Been worse.'

'I'll get Potter for that. It's a promise.' Pansy smiles maliciously.

Darah forces a smile at them both. Deep down she didn't feel hatred for Harry or even Draco. Her father was the problem.

'Listen, I appriciate you both coming here but I'm gonna get some sleep now. It's been a long day.'

The girls smile at her. 'Sure.' They both get up and leave her alone again in the silent room.

Darah looks at the clock hung up on the wall and starts to notice the ticking noise. 'Argh.' She pulls up the duvet over her head and closes her eyes, attempting to fall asleep.
