"I need you to run to the nearest muggle shop a-and I think they'll have some— FUCK," Emelia groaned.

"What? What the fuck, Emelia, we have to get you to St. Mungos for gods sake. You're bleeding all over the bloody place! And why is Draco here?"

She was about to speak before a shot of pain overcame her and she clutched her stomach. Draco was holding her, too tightly for Tom's liking, and caressing her back.

"Tom, I love you, but you need to listen to me. Go and grab them. There's muggle money in my satchel. Just take it and grab the things which say 'tampons' on them at the shop."

"What the bloody hell are tampons? Could you get off her?" he barked.

His hands were on the nape of his neck and he was worried. Emelia threw a box of tissues at him. He caught the tissues, but threw them to the side.

"JUST GO GET THEM!" she yelled.

Tom couldn't bare seeing her in this pain. He quickly apparated outside of the store with her bag in his hands and went up to the counter, worriedly.

"My girlfriend is bleeding and in pain and she asked me to come here and ask for things called tampons, can you get me them??" he asked. He was in a hurry and his attire was a bit odd. Tom was still in wizard clothing compared to the muggle clothes the cashier was wearing.

The cashier named Katherine laughed.

"That'll be $4," she said as she grabbed the tampon from the back.

"These aren't—these don't look...do you have anything more—"

"More easy, I suppose?"

He nodded.

She went to the third aisle and scurried back with another box which said "pads". Tom threw the money on the counter and grabbed the box. He ran out. She was yelling at him, but he couldn't tell. The second he was out of her sight he disapparated.

"Here, this better work or I'll kill you." he said.

She grabbed the box and ran into the bathroom. He was confused.

"What were you doing?" he asked Draco.

"Comforting your girlfriend because she just began her period."

"What the fuck is a period?"

"You should really take muggle anatomy." he said and walked out of the room, but before he could go Tom grabbed his arm. Draco tensed up and assumed he'd made Voldemort mad.

"Thank you for taking care of her," he said quietly.

Draco nodded. That was unexpected coming from the great and almighty Dark Lord. Emelia came out of the bathroom and looked around.

"Hope you didn't scare him away, Tom." she joked. He raised his eyebrow at her.

"You gave me a fright."

"I would have assumed you'd noticed that I get my period once a month every month, but then I realized you were in Azkaban."

He looked quite annoyed.

"I want to cuddle. I missed you."

"You're being a spoiled yob, Tom."

She went to their bed though and laid down, waiting for him to join. He went inside the covers and held her tightly.

"I had a dream." he stated.

"Tell me about it," she said as she ruffled his hair and was combing through it.

"Don't touch my hair," he said irritatedly.

"Tell me what you dreamed of or I won't stop."

He looked down at her and glared, but inside he felt loved. She was taking care of him the way his mother failed to. It filled a hole in his heart.

"It had you in it. And Dumbledore. You were dying."

"That sounds lovely, I wish it were true."

He lifted her chin up to face him.

"You shouldn't say things like that, Emelia. Take it back. I was...frightened. You looked as if you were starved and your skin was so pale...I was so concerned when I saw you bleeding once I got back."

"Sorry, can't help it."

"You got a cigar on you?"

She nodded and summoned her bag near her. Tom pulled out the carton of cigarettes. She went to reach for one, but he grabbed her wrist and held it tightly.

"These are bad for muggles. You shouldn't have any."

"Just one," she pleaded. "Also, my mum's a wizard."

He sighed.

"Fine."

Loosening the grip on her, he took out another cigarette for her and lit it. She opened her mouth and Tom placed it, gently, between her lips.

"I haven't had one of these in a little more than a year."

"I smelt cigarettes in my amortentia potion in Slughorn's class once," she admitted.

"I thought you smelt nothing?"

"Couldn't have THE Mister Tom Riddle knowing I loved him. Every girl fancied you, but I didn't find you too attractive. You were really dark and spooky for my liking."

He grimaced.

"That all changed though."

"We wasted so much time. We could have been together for so long."

"We are together."

"You know what I mean, Adams, don't get smart with me."

Emelia put her cigarette out and viewed Tom's face. He had a scar going down his face, but it was thin and jagged. His hair was a dark black color and he always had a mysterious look on his face. Emelia never really expected herself to be the one wounded up into scandals or drama.

"What're you thinking about?" he said, interrupting her thoughts.

"You," she replied softly.

"How's Ophelia doing? I want to see her again."

"Not sure, but I'm sure she's in great hands. I left her with Molly for a little."

"Can this Molly be trusted?"

"Don't turn this into your little wizarding politics, Tom. Yes, she is trustworthy and perhaps I even trust her with my life."

"Is that so? What about me?"

Emelia waited for a little before answering.

"Yes, but don't get too cocky."

He smirked and put his fag out. Tom got up and towered over Emelia. She was confused. Instead of taking off his shirt he laid down on her chest with his arms around her. Emelia put her hands back on his hair and pet it.

"You should know I trust you with my life, Tom. It's true."

He hummed into her stomach and shortly after they fell asleep.
