Emelia hadn't seen Tom in the dining hall when she arrived at Hogwarts and was a bit concerned, but shrugged off the thought when Fred came around. They'd sat together and listened to the speech Dumbledore was giving.

"Welcome back, children! I understand school has just begun after the break, but unfortunately I have terrible news. Our great Muggle Studies teacher, Myrtle, has died. She is now a ghost, but won't admit who committed this horrendous act. Unless the perpetrator is turned in or caught, Hogwarts shall be closing within the next few weeks. If you have any information please, I urge every one of you, come forward!"

Fred frowned and looked at her.

"Blimey, I wonder who could've done this."

She shrugged and continued to pick at her food. When dinner was over she started walking to her dormitories by herself.

'Fuck...I share it with Olive. I've got to switch.' she thought.

She turned around and headed to McGonagall's office. The hallways were crowded and bustling with people. Suddenly someone ran into her and she fell. It was a bit embarrassing, but she got up.

"Shove off." she muttered.

"Oi, aren't you the girl who's bloody trashy and can't keep her shit together?" he said while laughing.

"You know, I wonder why you know all this about me. Perhaps I have an admirer..." she shot back.

His face turned stormy and he started getting closer to her while yelling insults. He was about to lift up a hand when someone spoke behind her.

"I wouldn't advise that, Flint."

Emelia stopped breathing for a quick second when she realized it was Tom.

"I don't need your help, Tom." she spewed out.

"I see Riddle has a crush, aw! Just because you slept with the whore doesn't mean you have to defend her." Marcus said.

Tom was enraged at his comments and nearly hexed him before Emelia grabbed his wand.

"No, Tom. Stop." she said in a hoarse voice.

He put his wand away, quickly.

"You're serving a detention with Snape this Friday." he said coldly.

"I have a quidditch game, you blithering idiot!"

Tom looked at him menacingly.

"Say anything more and I'll make it two detentions."

Emelia tried to slip away, but Tom grabbed her wrist. She tried pulling away, but stopped when she knew it was useless. He took her to the prefect bathrooms and locked the door. Tom embraced her in a hug which she didn't melt into and pet her head.

"Stop it, Tom. Please." she begged.

"I'm sorry, but I must. I've missed you. It's been rough since I left." he murmured.

"Tom! I know you did it to the poor teacher."

He stopped and looked at her.

"Riddle, you are a monster from hell!" she cried out.

"It wasn't me. It wasn't. I swear my life on it."

'You bloody liar, you have 3 lives.' he thought in his head.

She shook her head. "Then who was it?" she asked. He shook his head, no.

"I don't know, Emelia. I was...at the orphanage when I left your hotel."

She raised an eyebrow.

"I'm an orphan. I didn't have anywhere to go so I went there. I didn't want you to find out this way, but here we are."

She pursed her lips and exhaled.

"I'm sorry. Sometimes you make me want to scream at the top of my lungs." she said.

"Never."

"Fuck you. It sucks. Everything fucking sucks, but anyway...Tom, please let me go to my dorm. I believe you."

He looked at her for a second, but didn't unlock the door. She got on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek. The door unlocked and she sprinted out. He'd let his guard down, but a part of him let her go.

Emelia ran to McGonagall's office. She didn't even care about anything else.

"Miss McGonagall! Miss!" she said out of breath.

"Yes, dear? Are you alright?" the old woman replied.

"I'm fine, but I was just wondering if I could request a dormitory switch. My current roomie and I don't get along and she's a bit...dreadful."

McGonagall looked at her and blinked.

"I guess I could arrange something. Gather your things...you can move in with Ginny Weasley. She requested one recently, as well. Also, Miss Adams. For your own good, I advise you straighten up this quarter."

Emelia nodded and smiled.

"Thank you, Professor, have a nice night."

She dipped out and started walking back towards the common rooms so she could find Ginny. Emelia wondered who Ginny was rooming with currently.

"Emelia, how was your vacation?" asked Draco appearing from the corridor.

"It was fine, Draco, you?"

He smirked.

"Well, as you can see my hair is quite...wavy now, innit?," he said, but then his voice lowered and his face darkened, "I heard you've been fooling with one of those Weasley's. Hope you're better than hanging out with blood traitors."

She looked at him, inquisitively.

"Get your head out of your arse, Malfoy. I'm half muggle, it doesn't matter to me. Stop prancing over things Daddy says and make some friends."

He rolled his eyes.

"See you later, Adams."

She waved goodbye and walked away. Draco was one of her friends, she could say. She reached the common rooms and met Ginny there sitting next to Harry.

"Ginny, did you request a room change too?" she asked.

Ginny nodded and then looked at her, wondering how she knew.

"I went to McGonagall and requested for a room change, as well. She said we'd be together now." Emelia replied.

"Ohh, I see. That's quite nice, I didn't like having Romilda as my roommate when all she did was ask me about Harry."

Harry nudged her and she laughed.

"No, really! Once she asked me if you had a pygmy puff tattooed on your chest."

Both of them burst out laughing meanwhile Harry asked, "What'd you tell her?"

"I told her you had a Hungarian Horntail. Much more macho!"

Harry laughed a bit and then kissed her in the middle of the common room. Emelia couldn't help but to grin. This was Ginny's childhood crush who she now snogged in the common rooms.

"Erm, did you tell Ron, yet?" Emelia asked.

Ginny pulled away and nodded.

"It was getting too hard at hiding it and he was suspicious anyways. It's a bit funny because now he wants to sit in between us and threatens Harry if he ever catches us...kissing."

"That's good...anyways, I should go and move my things. I'll see you later." Emelia said.

She walked to her old dormitory and as she entered she gasped.
