"Emelia...Emelia!" called out Olive. Emelia was nearly passed out on her desk, head buried in homework.

"Hold this up to her nose. It's a muggle thing which allows people to stay awake. Smelling salts, I believe," said Fred.

Olive took the 'smelling salts' and held it under Emelia's nose. She opened one eye and looked up so fast she hit Fred in the stomach.

"Are you insane, Olive? What was that?" she asks.

"You were passed out and besides, it's time for Alchemy with us. You've missed far too many classes." Olive says. Emelia sighs, but knows she can't miss another class.

"Are you going to apologize?" he asks.

"Sorry." she replies. He offers her his hand and she takes it, getting up. Olive was eyeing them.

She seems jealous, Emelia thought.

"Let's go." scoffs Olive.

They started walking and Fred was in the middle. He puts his hand around Olive and she smiles.

"You know I never thought I'd make it to seventh year. You youngens have a lot to learn..." Fred says.

"Don't remind me that you and George are leaving us in this hell hole." Olive sighs.

Emelia was quiet. The twins were fun, but often times they just didn't amaze her. That was a lie... they did. She just wasn't sure in which way they amazed her.

It was Olive. Olive was so dreadful. She was like a mixture of Lavender Brown and Hermione Granger, but alas Olive was the only one who cared for Emelia. As they reached Alchemy Emelia's thoughts came to a hold.

Olive sat next to Fred as Emelia desperately looked for a seat, hoping to not be an outcast. She turned around to the remaining seats in the back and there was only one next. Of course, it was next to Draco Malfoy. She walked back and took a seat before Professor Babbling said anything.

"Emelia, how've you been?" he asked.

"I'm alright." she muttered. Her attention was mainly on the lesson since she'd already missed a few days worth of notes.

The lesson was nearly over as there were 10 minutes remaining. All of a sudden she felt a hand on her thigh...Dracos'. She looked over and arched her back as it crept up her leg.

"Draco, what the hell." she whispered.

"What?" he asked, innocently.

"Unless you will be taking my notes for me, please stop." she begged. Draco grabbed her quill, quickly wrote down a few things and then took away his hand.

Meet me in the Slytherin common room today at 5

"No.", she said sternly. He smirked and then their class time was finished. Emelia nearly forgot Tom was also in their class until he appeared next to her.

"What was that?", he inquired. She didn't reply. Her mind was filled with everything. For the first time in months she was thinking of things other than school and herself.

"Answer me." he said.

She handed him what Draco had written and walked away to her next class. Emelia realized she had it with Tom, again, and huffed.

"You can't go." Tom says.

"I realized."

He nodded and walked alongside her She glanced at him for a second and then looked away.

"Why'd you choose me? For your little project or what not," she asked.

"I already told you. You aren't quite like every other girl who attends Hogwarts. You don't try to defy me. I'm going to be quite honest with you. They throw themselves at me every chance they get. Also, you're hiding something. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm sure of it."

Emelia smiled a bit. It was true, she was hiding something, but no one knew. Riddle was close to knowing, given the fact he knew she was hiding something.

"Will you accompany me tomorrow? To the Slytherin versus Gryffindor quidditch match?", she asks. He thinks for a minute before answering.

"Yes."

They walked to potions together yet kept their distance.
