"I knew she'd be here!""You're brilliant, Gin."
Emelia stirred in her sleep. It sounded as if Harry and Ginny had ended up in her dreams. That was odd.
"She's stirring slightly...should we wait?"
"No! Everyone's looking for them...we'll take her back to the Burrow."
"What about...him?"
There were feet scuffling around her. All of a sudden it simply wasn't a dream anymore. There was someone shaking her and it wasn't Tom.
"GINN-"
A hand was slapped across her mouth to prevent her from screaming.
"Shut it. I don't know when Tom will be back, but it's time for us to head back to England."
Emelia shook her head violently.
This couldn't be real.
"Emelia, you have to listen to us," Harry pleaded. "No one is mad at you. We just need you to explain why."
"I did this out of my own free will, what the literal hell is happening?"
Harry sat down on the rocking chair and looked up at Ginny.
"Care to explain?" she asked Ginny.
"War," she said as if that explained everything.
Emelia hadn't noticed this before, but she saw how rough Ginny's hair was. It was as if there was a fiery aura surrounding her. Harry looked tired as ever with sweat running down his face.
"Tea?" Emelia suggested. They stared at her for a second and Harry was about to say something before Ginny shot him a look.
"We can't stay here for long," she tried
explaining. "A lot of bad shit is happening in England. I'm not sure whether you're involved or not, but they're adamant to make a statement."She was very involved.
"Share one more drink before you go."
"We aren't leaving yet. We're walking the long road," Harry warned. "You'll never get your happy ever after unless you help. I understand it's not what you want, but England is basically in shambles. It'd be a shame if we reported back with nothing. It seems as if Tom's already left."
The door decided to fly open and there he was.
"I'm right here, Potter. I'm afraid we cannot do such a thing."
Tom walked inside, making his grand entrance.
"What're you doing?" Emelia asked.
"I'm back from my little rendezvous after our quarrel and have decided to be the bigger person."
Ginny raised her eyebrow.
"We can negotiate what to do with you later after all the trouble you've caused." Harry said sharply.
"You really didn't have to come back so early from your little rendezvous." Emelia shot.
"Negotiate?" Tom asked, completely ignoring Emelia's comment. It was as if his ears perked up at the sound of that.
"Yes. You're absolutely foul, Tom. But clearly Emelia seems something in you for some odd reason so I'm going to trust my judgement and say you have some peculiar soft spot for her. If that's true then help us." Ginny added. "You started this so you lot are going to finish it. Including you, Emelia."
