"Emelia..."

The feeling Emelia felt at that moment, standing in front of Mrs. Weasley after everything occurred was surreal. Nerve wracking, if you may. Her heart was beating so fast and she was tense.

"Mrs. Weasley." she said.

There was a moment of silence between the two. Everyone was awkwardly shifting around after they took the Floo back to the Burrow. It was all until someone came through the door in a hurry.

"They're gaining allies and they're gaining them quickly. Their numbers have doubled over the past two weeks."

A tall man with scars on his face and messy light brown hair walked in.

"You should rest, Remus. A full moon is coming up and it's no good to be over exerting yourself."

Remus looked around the room, eyeing everyone carefully. His eyes stopped at Tom.

"You must be the very keen Mister Riddle who started all this."

"Just Tom."

Lupins eyes sent a quick warning signal to Arthur. They seemed to be communicating silently. Emelia sat in between everyone waiting for them to come up with some sort of punishment.

"Come with me," Remus said.

Tom got up and adjusted his jacket. He looked back at Emelia, motioning for her to stay put.

"He's innocent," she blurted out.

Fuck, she thought, why would I say that.

"What she means to say is that I've reformed and decided the dark side wasn't meant for me."

"This isn't a game, Tom, you cannot pick and choose which sides to join without there being repercussions," a voice boomed.

Riddle's whole face turned sour for a few moments and he turned around to face the fireplace.

"Professor."

"Tom," he acknowledged. "You've cause quite a...what's the word?"

"Fiasco?" Sirius offered. Remus grinned at him discretely.

Dumbledore smiled.

"Yes. A fiasco. It seems you've dragged Miss Adams into it too." He turned around to see Emelia. "Good evening, Miss Adams."

Emelia nodded.

"Professor."

"Come with me," he said, offering his hand. She was about to take it, but Tom shouted.

"STOP IT," he said. "Leave her out of it."

"If you wanted her left out of it then you wouldn't have use Legillimens on her or obliviated her. We'll discuss your consequences  later. Remus, take him away."

Remus scuffled out of the door, his hip seemed to be jacked up. Tom followed, silently.

"Molly, care to make us some tea? Bring Fred while you're at it."
