Emelia woke up to Ginny laughing. Her head pounded from last nights events. She looked over and saw Harry laying in between Ginny's legs while she ruffled with his hair. He stayed over that night. Emelia took a quick glance at the floor and saw the dress she lent Ginny on the floor. Her eyes widened and then she checked the time. It was 6 AM so they had time before they got up.

"Ginny, once you're erm...done could you wake me up at 6:30 when it's time for Potions?" Emelia asked.

"Blimey, you're up! Yeah, I will. Listen, I'm sorry I left you out there with Fred. It was really stupid and all, but I dunno...I panicked and yeah."

"It's fine." she replied.

Emelia closed her eyes again and went to sleep. She slipped into her dreams which rarely ever happened. This time, Emelia saw the teacher, Myrtle, who had died. And...Emelia was standing, but how could that be? She was watching herself it seemed. Myrtle was in the stall complaining about her life and Emelia walked close to the stall.

"I just wish the pain would end." said Myrtle.

"Oh...is that so?" Emelia replied.

Emelia crept towards Myrtle. Myrtle was still too busy sobbing to notice much. She kissed her before she could say anything and then took out her wand and pointed it at Myrtle.

"Avada Kedavra."

Myrtle's soul started to drift away, but Emelia took out a diary and closed it onto the soul. It dissolved into the pages and then Emelia quickly disapparated.

She woke up drenched in sweat with her forehead heating up. Ginny was lightly holding onto her.

"You were having like a seizure, are you okay?" she asked.

Emelia nodded and exhaled. She didn't know what that dream meant. It all felt too real to be fake, but how could she do something like that? Tom did it, not her.

"I'm going to get you some water and food, stay here. You shouldn't attend your classes today. Let me know if you need anything else, alright?" Ginny said and walked out of the room.

Emelia needed to know why she did this even if it was just a dream. She got up and went to her teeth. When she got to the bathroom she saw her reflection. Her hair was a bit messy and her sunken eyes were prominent. When she was done brushing she went back in bed. Emelia heard Ginny by the door.

"You can't come in, Fred. You're a dick and need to straighten yourself up."

"I just need to ask her if she's okay, Gin."

Ginny groaned and let him inside.

"If you try to make a move on her I won't hesitate to hex you," she threatened.

Emelia's eyes widened a little bit and didn't speak. Fred approached her and set down a small fluffy ball on her nightstand.

"Emelia," he said softly, "How're you doing?"

"Just fine. What is that?" she asked.

"Well...you know how George and I sell gags and such to other students?"

She nodded. They were notoriously famous when it came to pranks.

"This is just something small George helped me with. It's like an animal, but you don't have to feed it. A live stuffed animal. We're thinking of the name Pygmy Puffs."

Emeli nodded, curtly, and didn't say much. His muscles flexed for a quick second. Fred seemed nervous.

"I'm sorry." he said.

She didn't reply. She didn't know what to expect from him.

"I know that it probably took you some time to get to know me during the holidays and when you saw me with Olive it broke our bond. I completely understand that. If you need time I'll give it to you."

"I don't need time because I'm over you." she said. It hurt her to say it, but she knew Tom would make her keep her word or Fred would get hurt.

"Over me?" he sounded like a hurt puppy. "You're with someone else?"

Her throat filled up with guilt.

"I'm dating Tom. I'm sorry."

Fred's eyebrows scrunched up.

"I don't see him here. Does he even know you're sick? He's a bloody creep, Emelia!" he shouted.

Emelia looked around for Ginny, but she'd already gone to class. Fred took a seat on the chair and she could sense he was going to cry.

"Please leave, Fred." she begged.

"Was it something I said to make you feel like you're a burden? Is it really worth it that you're dating Riddle? Tell me, is it?"

A tear rolled down her cheek.

"Leave. If you really cared for me then you wouldn't have kissed Olive. Stop victimizing yourself, Fred. Goodbye." Emelia seethed.

"Well while you were snogging Riddle I was fucking Olive," he spat and left the room.

Emelia didn't reply. What would she even say? The pygmy puff changed to a sorrow shade of purple. She didn't know what was happening. Why did she have to kiss Fred that night? Why did she attend the party? Did she kill Myrtle? There was a knock at the door and someone came in.

"Tom, now isn't a good time." she said.

He approached her and set a ring on her nightstand. It was the same ring she gave back to him.

"You did the right thing." he said.

She shook her head and laid back on the wall.

"Can you come here and just...act like a normal person? Can we just act like a normal couple?"

His heart stopped beating for a second when she said couple. In truth, Tom thought she wouldn't comply. Emelia knew better. If she didn't comply he'd act in a rage. Tom climbed on the bed and held her closely. She, cautiously, laid her head on shoulder.

"Tom, did I do that to Myrtle?" she whispered.

Tom had wanted to keep her shielded from her own work. He loved her too much for her to realize she did it.

"No."
