Emelia went to the Gryffindor common room and tried to align her thoughts. Olive came up to her and started questioning her.

"Where were you? It's been nearly 2 hours since potions. You're so lucky I like you or you'd be dead."

Emelia quickly said "Sorry. I got busy. I forgot my broomstick somewhere and went looking for it."

"You don't even play quidditch, darling." said a witty voice coming from behind Olive...it was Fred.

She scoffed. "I forgot I had an old broom and took interest to it."

Emelia walked away back to her dormitory and sat on the bed.

"Today was real? It was..." she said, trying to reassure herself today wasn't a figment of her imagination.

She looked at the clock and looked back at the heap of work on her desk. She sighed and got started on it. By the time she looked up at the clock it was 6:30. 'Shit', she thought, 'I'm 30 minutes late'.

She quickly changed into her sleeping clothes, her robe, grey shorts and a tank top, so she'd be comfortable.  Emelia grabbed her wand and slipped away.

"You're late." he seethed.

"I'm sorry." she replied.

He came closer and traced her jawline with his wand. "I know getting you alone is quite easy, but I don't want to lie...nor do I want to tell you the truth." he suddenly jabs the wand in her neck.

"Riddle" she whispered.

"I find it funny. Every girl tries to be 'different' to appease me. It's the same type of different... loud and disobedient. They never listen to me like you do." he says, briskly.

"Today in the baths you listened to me like a good little girl. Could have done without taking my shirt and pants off , but that's alright." he takes his wand away.

"May I ask a question?" she asks.

"You just did, but go ahead."

"Never mind. It's silly." she says.

Her head flashes with pain and she passes out on the stone floors.

Emelia opened her eyes with her head still aching, horribly.

"Where am I?" she asks.

"Room of requirements. It's quite handy." Riddle replies. "You were wondering if I genuinely thought you were beautiful today in the baths."

"I apologize. How'd you know?", she asks.

"Legilimency...you'll understand in good time." He walks around her in a circle as she's clutching her knees and staring at the space between her legs. He comes towards her and offers his hand. She takes it and he pulls her up.

"Would you like a cigarette?", he offered.

"Yes." Emelia replies. She realized who she smelt in the Amortentia potion. Her heart broke a bit.

She hoped she could fall in love more than once, if what they had was even love. She took the cigarette and inhaled. Leaning on Riddle, she falls. He moved away from her.

"Keep your distance unless I say so.", he says.

"Isn't this supposed to be detention?"

"Sure."

Emelia asked if she could leave and Riddle shook his head.

"Emelia...care to have this ring?" he asked while pulling it out of his robes. "Okay", she replied.

It was a gold ring with a black cracked stone in the middle. He winced when she takes it into her hand.

"Are you alright?" she asked.

"You may leave now. You remember when to come here, correct?"

She nodded.

"Also, if you utter a single word of this to anyone else there shall be consequences. Good girl."

Emelia knew. She didn't think much of anything, nowadays. While she had many questions, it was unlikely she'd experience this thrill in her life. It was so bland.
