"Doktor,es gibt eine notfall!" one of the resident called me."Doctor, there's an emergency!"

I immediately closed the record that I'm reading at sinalubong ang pasyente sa entrance ng ospital.

I checked her vitals, the patient was a girl from her 20's, they said that she fainted on her way to the University. We did some test and examinations and the result was, she have a dilated cardiomyopathy, her heart chambers become dilated, meaning,the heart muscle stretches and becomes thinner. The most common causes of dilated cardiomyopathy are prior heart attacks, arrhythmias, and toxins.As a result, the heart becomes weaker and cannot pump blood properly. It can result in arrhythmia, blood clots in the heart, and heart failure. We need to do a surgery.

"Bevorzugen Sei eine operation." saad ko at agad namang tumango at naghanda ang mga kasama ko."Prefer for a surgery"

Halos apat na oras din kami sa surgery room dahil nag karoon ng complication pero naayos din naman agad.

Agad akong napaupo sa may hallway ang tinanggal ang mask na sout ko, biglang may nag abot ng tubig, tinignan ko kunh sino ito at napangiti ako."Thanks."

He sat beside me."How's the surgery?"

"Like the usual, it's exhausting." sagot ko.

"Let's have dinner tonight?" patanong na sabi niya.

"Your shift's over?" tanong ko and he nooded.

"Ok, I'll just change my clothes." saad ko at tumayo na.

"I'll wait you at the parking lot Lauren." nakangiting saad niya.

Pagkatpos kong makapagpalit ng damit ay nagtungo na ako sa parking lot, sumakay kami sa puting BW niya at nag punta sa isang steak house.

Habang nag hinihintay namin ang order namin ay napansin kong nakatitig siya sa akin.

"What?" natatawang tanong ko.

"You're so beautiful Lauren." nakangising sabi niya.

"Baliw." umiiling na sabi ko sabay inom ng tubig.

"What?" nakakunot noong tanong niya.

"I said you're baliw." paguulit ko.

"What's baliw?"tanong ulit niya.

"Baliw means handsome." sagot ko.

"Oh...so I'm baliw." amused na saad niya.

"Yeah, you are." nagpipigil tawang sagot ko.

"Ok, I'm baliw, very baliw." paguulit niya.

Gusto ko ng matawa pero buti nalang dumating na yung order namin.Pagkatapos naming kumain ay hinatid na niya ako sa condo na tinitirhan ko.

"Thanks for the dinner, I'll treat you tomorrow to be fair." nakangiting saad ko ng nakarating kami sa tapat ng building ko.

"No worries love, I prefer your filipino dish, I missed your adobo." saad niya kaya napangiti ako.

"Ok, I'll cook us dinner tomorrow then." sagot ko. He kissed my cheeks bago ako lumabas sa sasakyan niya.

Pagkaalis niya ay saka ako pumasok sa loob. Pagkapasok ko sa Unit ko ay biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko, it's my mom.

"Oh ma?"sagot ko.

"Kumusta duty anak?"tanong niya sa akin.

"Syempre nakakapagod pero ayos naman, ikaw Ma? How's the firm?"tanong ko pabalik.

"Ayos naman, madami kaming kasong hinahandle ngayon." sagot niya.

"ohh." pagtango ko.

"Kumusta kayo ni Ezra?" pagiiba niya ng topic.

"Ayos naman, we had a dinner together, kahahatid niya lang sa akin." sagot ko.

"I really loved that man, 'bat di mo pa sagutin, halos dalawang taon naring nangliligaw sayo ano." saad ni Mama.

Napairap naman ako sa kawalan.

"Darating din tayo sa puntong 'yan Ma." sagot ko because here we ho again.

"Hay nako Lauren, Ezra is one of a kind, he's rare, buti nga nakatagpo ka pa ng katulad niya." saad pa niya.

"Yeah, yeah yeah, I'm hanging up na, I'm tired." inip na saad ko at pinatay na ang tawag kahit may sinasabi pa siya. Ayaw ko ng makipag argue pa, alam ko na kung saan tutungo ang usapan namin pag di ko pa in-end ang tawag.

Ezra is a Canadian who migrated here with his family, Isa siyang Pedia, he is very fond of children which is very adorable, halos lahat ata ng bata sa ospital kilala siya, minsan nga when we go out for a date, bigla nalang may yumayakap sa kanyang bata out of nowhere, ang saya ngang tignan habang nakikipag bonding siya sa mga bata, his future children would be very lucky to have him as their father. Matagal na niya akong nililigawan, simula nung nag work ako sa ospital na 'yon, he's kind and all di siya mahirap mahalin pero may anong pumipigil sa akin. Sinabihan ko narin siya noon na wag siyang umasa kasi I can't assure him my yes but still, he never give up to me. My mom is right, he's one of a kind, I want to love him so I'm trying.

Matutulog na sana ako pagkatapos kong maligo ng may nag message sa akin, it was Ezra, he send me a photk of him and his niece Anniel, she was very cute.

Him: she missed you.

Me: ohhh, my little baby, i'll visit her this weekend you say.

Him: she's screaming with happiness now.

Me: HAHHAHAHA, the typical Ani.

Him: By the way, you scammed me. I hate you Lauren.

Me: I scam u with what?

Him: I searched the meaning of baliw in google because I kinda doubt you and I'm right, you're fooling me, baliw means crazy.

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA opps sorry.

Him: u should cook my dinner very delicious tomorrow.:<

Me: Yes Master, hahahha.

Him: lol, u to bed now, good night love.💛

Me: yeah, you too, good night.

Nakangiti kong nilapag ang cellphone ko. Humiga na ako pero di ako pumikit, I stared at my white ceiling.

Lord, give me sign that I'm doing the right thing, and if this is your will for me then I'll gladly accept it. You know how tired my heart is and you're the best healer. I'm setting everything up to you God.

If this is my destiny then so be it. I'll live it and loved it.
