Suga's POV
"Suga, what are you doing??" I turned a little bit, giggling when Daichi walked over.
"They all wanted cuddles!" I said, Daichi smiling gently and shaking his head at the sight of me being covered with baby animals of all kinds. I had baby birds nestled in my hair, squirrels or chipmunks curled on my shoulders, rabbits in my arms, and fawns and foxes using my lap and legs for pillows.
"...I see. And, are they all comfortable?" Daichi asked, sitting next to me. I nodded, staying pretty still since all the animals were asleep or resting. He smiled gently and looked up before raising his arm. Growing the branch above us to grow out so that it covered us all in a cool shade.
We were sitting together quite comfortably when suddenly I heard a very familiar voice.
"Sugaaa??"
"Sounds like Hinata." I said with a small smile. Daichi nodded in agreement when there was some rustling. We both turned our heads, Hinata wandering over.
"There you are! Oh! What are you doing?" Hinata asked curiously as he walked over slowly. I smiled gently and looked at all the baby animals on me.
"They all wanted some attention."
"Aww!"
"How are you doing, Hinata? Did you meet Kageyama?"
"Uh huh! I didn't know he was blind?"
"Hm? Oh, yes he is. I'm sorry, did I not mention that to you? He functions so well that it's not very noticeable. But then again, I've not seem him interact with anything unless it's very brightly lit so he can see." I said, Hinata nodded with a small sigh.
"Yeah, he told me that he can only see light and stuff. Not anything else. He can't even see the stars..!"
"Well, that is what happens when you live in only darkness from birth."
"But his dad isn't blind?"
"Well, that is because his father was exposed to light as a baby. Kageyama wasn't."
"He wasn't??"
"No. He was only in the dark until he was old enough to begin taking over for his father. By then, his vision never developed aside from recognizing light and dark."
"So, why can't the god of healing fix it??"
"I don't know Hinata. It is beyond my knowledge about the extent of his magic." I explained calmly. Hinata pouted a bit but shrugged and nodded.
"I guess so."
"Did you need something Hinata?" Daichi asked, Hinata shaking his head and saying he was bored. I laughed faintly, and I would've tilted my head, but I fear the baby birds on my head would tumble off.
"Bored? You're rarely bored. Is something the matter?"
"No, I was just, bored." Hinata said, crossing his legs. I hummed softly in response before offering to let Hinata hold some of the baby bunnies in my arms. He nodded eagerly as I instructed him how to hold his arms so the babies would feel safe and nestled comfortably.
After he did was I was told, I was reaching to give the baby bunnies to him before I realized something.
"Oh, Hinata?"
"Uh huh??"
"Could you try to dim the glow? I don't want it waking them up." I said with a tiny smile. Hinata blinks a few times before smiling just as brightly as he was glowing.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" He said, the bright glowing sun-like aura around him dimming until it was faint enough that the babies wouldn't be woken up. I gave him the bunnies as he giggled and held them carefully.
