Hinata's POV

"Daichi? Daichiii??"

"Hinata?"

"Daichi! There you are- Oh! Sorry, hey is Suga okay???" I asked when I found Daichi sitting in the grass. He was leaning against a tree and Suga was in his lap asleep.

"Suga is fine. He's resting is all." Daichi assured me.

"Oh, okay! Shouldn't he be home though?"

"I told him to go home and rest. But he insisted on staying here. It's alright though. Do you need something Hinata?"

"I wanted to ask you a question is all." I said, sitting a bit away from Daichi. He nodded and tilted his head.

"Alright, what is it?"

"When did you fall in love with Suga??"

"It's been centuries, Hinata."

"No, I mean, when did you fall in love with him?" I said, Daichi laughing faintly.

"Ohh. I fell in love with him the moment he ran into the forest in search of a family of baby crows that had gotten separated from their family."

"Really?"

"Mhm."

"How did you know you liked him? Or, loved him. Whatever one came first."

"Well I thought he was physically very attractive. And as I got to know him, I fell in love with who he is. Which as you know is very kind, he's caring and loving.." Daichi mumbled, looking down at Suga with a small smile. I couldn't help but smile slightly at the sight. Everyone in both Athens and Olympus knew that Daichi and Suga loved each other. And it made sense. Daichi was the god of the forest, and Suga was the god of animals and nature.

"Oh, I see. Are you and Suga gonna go to the festival for Kiyoko? Or, "Athena" tomorrow?"

"Yes, we are. Are you attending?"

"Uh huh! I'm gonna bring Kageyama."

"Hm? He can't be out during the day though, Hinata."

"I know, but the people keep the festival going into the night, so I'm gonna go with him then."

"Hinata, you should be resting at night. I understand if you'd like to stay out for a little bit, but please take care of yourself." Daichi said with furrowed brows. I dunno why everyone was so worried.

"I will, tell Suga I said hi when he wakes up!" I said, hopping to my feet and running off.

Next Day: Daichi's POV

The people have truly made the city beautiful in honor of Kiyoko. Suga and I smiled at the people we passed as we looked around. Hm. I saw Yachi here. I see Asahi. Where is Kiyoko herself??

Kiyoko's POV

"Aw c'mon. One date?"

"Pardon?"

"The goddess of war and the god of war, you gotta think. We'd be incredible!" I smiled slightly, tilting my head as I was being followed around by the god of war like he was a lost puppy dog.

"Mm. I don't know. I'm supposed to be in Athens at the moment." I said, flipping my hair over my shoulder and heading towards the city. I heard a huff before the god of war, Tanaka, swooped in front of me and held up a bunch of red flowers tied together with rope.

"Aw come on, you can always head there a little bit later? Or we can arrange the date for another time. Maybe after your little festival is over?" Tanaka said with a smile, holding the flowers up to me. I smiled faintly, taking the bouquet of blood red flowers. Knowing him. They were really colored with real red blood.

"I'll think about it." I said, Tanaka smiling as I walked past him to get to Athens. As I was approaching the city, I felt a few flicks of water against my skin.

"Hey there." I looked over, smiling faintly to see the very god that I had battled years ago. And thanks to my victory, that is how the city of Athens was named.

"Hello."

"On your way to your little festival in your city eh?"

"Yes, I am. Why are you here?"

"Came here to bother you."

"You do need to find a new habit."

"Like what?"

"You are god of the sea. I'm sure you can find something." I said, Bokuto sighing.

"I guess so, but I haven't yet."

"In all the years you've lost that battle to me, you've found nothing better to do than appear every year to speak to me about Athens?"

"Sorta?"

"Sort of?"

"Welllllll, I've been TRYING to get the attention of someone else but they won't pay attention to me."

"Who is it?"

"I don't know, he won't even look at me."

"Perhaps you should ask for some help from the god of love." I said, trying to get Bokuto to leave me alone. He was alright, he never tried to particularly harm me or anyone else. He was actually quite a, you could say, sweetheart. But ever since he lost that battle, he has been quite... sulky, about it. And we have tried once again to see who was stronger, yet I still won.

Bokuto tilted his head a bit before shrugging.

"You think he'd help me?"

"Perhaps. I've never spoken to him. I'm unsure how he truly is." I said, Bokuto sighing and nodding.

"Well, it's worth a try I guess. You have fun in AtHeNs." He said before returning to the water. I smiled faintly before shaking my head. I don't know if the god of love is a generous being, but hopefully he will keep Bokuto out of my hair. The easy thing to do would allow him to win a battle, but my pride simply wouldn't let me.

Finally I was able to get to Athens where I was quickly greeted with gifts and offerings. I smiled to the people who gathered around me and the other gods and goddesses who have come for this day. The city we all protect and provide for. The people were important to us all. Which is why it is imperative that we perform our best for them.
