ivan, ben, and jenn all sat at the restaurant table. it's been a bit awkward, considering the fact that ben and jenn hate each other's guts. ivan cleared his throat and let out a sigh, "shall we talk business now?"

"of course," ben was the first to say and gave jenn a snarky smirk. the girl rolled her eyes and just nodded her head at ivan.

"fake dating," ivan proudly announced. jenn and ben had looks of shock in their face with their jaws dropped.

"come again?" jenn interjected. ivan laughed and just shrugged his shoulders.

"oh come on, it's the oldest trick in the book," ivan emphasized, "your guys fans hate each other, you know that right? none of them are excited to see this movie. no one is gonna watch it because they think the chemistry and the action is going to be a train wreck! but if we get these fans to believe ricky and nini love each other, they'll eat it up."

"how though?" ben asked, "everyone knows that ricky and nini hate each other. if they suddenly start dating, no one will believe it."

"i hate to admit it, but it's true," jenn added on while she glared at benjamin, "they'll see right through it."

"we'll gradually ease our way into it," ivan stated, "but you guys will have to work together in order to make it look as real as possible."

"i don't know ivan," ben murmured.

"you want nini's career to end or what?" ivan challenged, "nini is your biggest star and if she crashes, so does your company. as for you jenn, ricky is barely making it in the industry. if this movie is good, ricky's career is gonna explode. you know you need this."

jenn and benjamin eyed each other. they let out frustrated sigh and nodded their heads in agreement, "fine ivan, what do we gotta do?"

"first," ivan said and pulled out a piece of paper and pen, "we're gonna need to make some ground rules."

"DATE RICKY?" nini exclaimed with a disgusted look on her face, "no way! ew!"

"oh please! don't think i'm happy about this either," ricky whined and glared at nini, "you're the last person i would wanna be with."
