"hey," ricky quietly muttered to maya once she opened the door for him. he walked through and saw gina, carlos, howie and ashlyn already sitting on the couch. ricky cleared his throat and made his way next to gina and carlos. maya slowly trailed behind him and stood in front of everyone.

"i'm just gonna say this but ricky and i's relationship was fake. everything's fake—"

"maya! what are you doing?" ricky quickly asked her with panic. sure gina and carlos knew but ricky wasn't even supposed to tell them. it was against the contract.

"ricky, i'm sorry," was all maya said before she took a deep breath. ricky shrug his shoulders and just leaned back into the couch. he crossed his arms over his chest while maya continued to pace back and forth.

"you okay maya?" howie asked the girl with concern. the blonde shook her head and let out another deep breath to calm herself.

"i'm leaving montague records."

"WHAT?" carlos exclaimed as he shot up, along with everyone else.

"maya, what do you think you're doing?" ashlyn asked as she reached out for the girl but maya just stepped away from everyone.

"i know things are pretty shit right now but you don't have to leave ... " gina quietly said to maya but she just shook her head. ricky stepped forward and held maya'shands.

"you didn't have to do this for me ... " ricky softly told her, "why are you doing this?" maya glanced at ashlyn with guilt and faced the floor. ricky looked at who she was looking at and scrunched his eyebrows together, "maya ... what is going on?"

"i'm scared ... " was all maya could creak out.

"about what ... ?" ashlyn asked. maya looked up at ashlyn with guilt and embarrassment.

"i'm pregnant .. " maya confessed. ricky immediately let go of maya's hands and looked at her with confusion. everyone looked at the two with shock and horror.

"that doesn't make sense .." ricky started to say, "we never—"

"it's ej's," maya confessed and looked straight at ashlyn. everyone's jaw dropped and ashlyn felt her heart fall out of her chest.

"you said it was all fake?!" ashlyn exclaimed. maya felt her eyes start to fill up with tears as ashlyn's voice raised. everyone looks at her with horror and confusion.

"not ej ... he's real," maya confessed again, "he loves me.."

"you're the girl ej met three years ago, aren't you?" ashlyn breathed out as she stared at maya in disbelief.

"wait what? what are you talking about?" gina asked as she looked between the two girls.

"when i was part of capulet records, i found out ej cheated on nini, when they were actually dating. he wouldn't tell me who the girl was and we got into a huge argument so i left. i came and joined montague records," ashlyn explained with tears building up in her eyes, "you were my best friend, maya. i told you everything! only for you to know that the girl was you! that you were the one who ruined my relationship with ej this WHOLE time."
