the truth .25

lewis opened up his door to see nini standing outside of his door. the boy gave her a big smile and opened his arms for a hug. the girl gladly went into his arms and they hugged each other as tight as they could. lewis pressed his lips against nini's forehead. nini smiled as lewis gave her a soft forehead kiss and they finally let go of each other.

"is seb here?" nini asked as they stepped into lewis' house. the boy shook his head and closed the door after her. 

"nope, but he should be coming soon," lewis told her, "you have the dvd, right?"

"yeah, i do," nini said as she grabbed it out of her bag. she held it in her hands and smiled at lewis', "right here." 

"great! ricky helped up steal it?" lewis asked as he grabbed the dvd from nini's hand. she followed him as the boy walked into his living room.

"yup," nini said popping the 'p'. she watched as lewis set the dvd in the dvd player. the girl cleared her throat and the boy turned around to look at her, "but you don't have to worry about that. ricky and i are strictly "fake" dating."

"i know," lewis said a bit unsure. nini let out a innocent chuckle and stepped closer to the boy. she gave him a light poke on the tummy and lewis started to lighten up.

"listen.. i know i told you that i didn't want you to wait for me. but i have a feeling this feud between the capulets and montages will actually end soon, which means ricky and i wouldn't have to fake date for our fans to stop hating each other. everyone would be civil, right?" nini explained and stepped even closer to the boy, "i wanna be with you lewis. i'm tired of waiting."

the boy let out a sigh of relief and used his hand to tuck nini's hear behind her ear. he cupped her face with his hand and smiled. he started to lean into until they heard the doorbell ring. they both let out a frustrated sigh and chuckled.

"i swear he does that on purpose," lewis told nini who shortly laughed. he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before pulling away, "can we talk about this later?" the girl nodded her head and softly smiled at him. lewis made his way towards the door and nini made herself comfortable on the couch. 

seb and lewis soon made their way into the living room. the girl sprung up from the couch and gave seb a huge hug, "SEBBBYY!! HIII," the girl exclaimed as they both laughed, "i missed you."

"HIII NEENS," seb exclaimed back and fell back down on the couch with her, "i missed you guys too! but we'll catch up later. my curiosity is getting impatient."

seb took his backpack off his shoulders and started to dig through it. he pulled out bags of popcorn and handed it to lewis and nini. they looked at seb with confused looks as he shrugged his shoulders, "what?"

"popcorn?" nini asked seb.

"who knows how long this thing is?" the blonde boy told them. they nodded their heads in agreement and proceeded to open up the bags of popcorn. 

"should i start it now?" lewis asked as he pointed the remote to the tv. the three of them exchanged nervous glances before nodding their heads. lewis took in a deep breath before turning on the dvd player. the boy sat next to nini, who was currently in between her two best friends.

soon enough, the film started to play. jenn was the first one to pop up on the screen. benjamin was behind the camera his youthful voice ringing through their ears. benjamin turned the camera around to show himself and jenn holding up a piece of paper, "what's that wonderful piece of paper in your hand, mrs. mazarra?"

a piece of popcorn flew out of lewis' mouth as he almost choked at what benjamin said. seb and nini's jaw dropped as they inched forward on the couch, "i'm sorry?? did he just say mrs. mazarra?"
