"how do i look," nini asked kourtney and seb as she turned around to look at them. nini was wearing an iridescent pastel pink dress. it had diamonds and glitter all over it, making the dress shine and reflect light every time it was on it. her hair was curled and she had braids going all around her head.

"i am in love with your dress," seb breathed out. he took nini's arm and made her twirl. nini let out a soft chuckle.

"NEENS! you look amazing," kourtney exclaimed with excitement in her voice, "this met be your best gala dress yet!"

"ahh thank you guys!" nini blushed out, "you guys look amazing as well! benjamin really stepped up our wardrobe department, huh?"

"extremely," seb chuckled. the three of them made their way to nini's dresser and looked at themselves in the mirror.

"too bad no one will know its us till the end of the night," kourtney whispered. they all nodded their heads and looked down at their masks, "you guys ready?"

nini picked up her mask and looked at it, "ready."

all three of them put on their masks. soon enough, nini's bedroom door opened. red was in an all black suit and a black mask sat on his face. you could barely tell it was him, "wow! you guys look great!"

"so do you red!" kourtney shot back. red straightened his suit jacket and laughed.

"i know," he confidently said, earning laughs from all his friends, "ej and lewis are waiting downstairs in the limo. you guys ready to go now?"

"we're ready," nini answered. the four of them made their way downstairs and outside to the limo. as soon as they got inside the car, all of them took their masks off. nini's eyes immediately went to lewis' who was sitting in front of her.

"you look amazing, neens," nini heard ej call out. the girl looked away from lewis and at ej with a smile.

"oh, thank you ej!" nini quickly complimented back, "as do you! digging the black and white this year."

ej looked down at his suit and blushed, "thanks! decided to be a bit basic this year. kind of opposite of you."

nini laughed and gave ej a smile. she's been meaning to talk to him about their deal with ivan and benjamin, but she didn't really know what to say. she had so many questions but didn't really know how to ask them. as for lewis, they haven't talked either. there was nothing to talk about. they couldn't be together, again.

"you guys all look astounding," lewis softly said to everyone. he had a cheeky smile on his face and nini couldn't help but stare at him with admiration, "i'm quite excited for this ball."

"me too," kourtney quickly answered with a smile, "you guys didn't hear this from me but i'm pretty sure beyonce is performing."

"i thought it's ariana grande," seb added on.

"wasn't it both?" red asked. everyone joined in the conversation besides lewis and nini who couldn't keep their eyes off of each other. they gave each other small smiles.

"you look beautiful," lewis mouthed to nini. the girl blushed and nodded her head.

"you look handsome," she mouthed back to him. lewis glanced at their four friends who were distracted in their conversation. he quickly got up from his seat and sat next to nini. the girl looked up at him with a smile, "hi."

"hey," lewis whispered to her, "wow, how do you look even more beautiful now that i'm really looking at you."

nini shook her head and chuckled, "stop! you're making me nervous...but thank you."
