nini knocked on benjamin's door. the girl was a bit nervous. if she screwed up that would ruin the whole plan for her, seb, and lewis. although, the girl couldn't focus because of how bad she feels about ricky. her whole life was a mess at this point.

nini's thoughts got interrupted when benjamin opened the door. he gave her a smile and stepped aside for the girl to walk in, "glad you could make it, nini. ivan, jenn, and ricky are all in the dining room if you wanna head over there. i'm gonna grab some chips and wine real quick."

"alright, cool," was all nini could said. she gave ben a smile before heading towards the dining room. when she stepped inside, she saw i can sitting at the head of the table with ricky and jenn by his side. ricky looked up from the papers and saw nini. the boy forced a smile at her before quickly looking away.

"there's our little star," ivan cooed as nini sat across from ricky and jenn. she let out an awkward laugh and smiled. before nini could say anything, benjamin quickly walked into the room holding a bowl of chips and wine glasses. he set it down on the table before sitting next to nini.

"alright, shall we get started," benjamin asked, eyeing everyone. they all nodded their heads and ivan passed around pieces of paper. nini glanced down at the paper below her and sighed. ivan continued, "so below is a schedule of days ricky and nini are set to be together, where they'll be, and how long they'll hang out. pretty self explanatory."

"what are these quotes in parentheses," ricky asked as he pointed the piece of paper to ivan. nini followed where ricky was pointing at and nodded her head in agreement. ivan let out a chuckle.

"oh! just little actions and ways you guys must act when you're seen together. just think of it as a script .. well because it is fake," ivan explained. nini chuckled and shook her head.

"you can't be serious, right?" the girl lightly said. ivan's smiled went away and he looked at nini with seriousness. nini's body stiffened and she cleared her throat, "never mind you're serious."

"of course, i'm serious," ivan said in a stern voice, "nini, do you even know how big this movie series is?"

"uh—"

"it was a rhetorical question," ivan stated, cutting nini off. he straightened out his tie while he spoke, "the fans love when a cast is close, especially two stars like you and ricky. the more love and drama we get from all this, then the more viewers — which also means more money. for all of us."

"got it," was all nini could say. she glanced at ricky who kept his eyes glued to the paper, not wanting to say anything.

"ricky and nini have to drop a song?" jenn asked as she scanned further into the papers. benjamin started to flip through the papers with stress.

"two songs?" benjamin exclaimed as he looked at ivan with stress, who was currently unbothered. ivan shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

"it's been a while since they dropped something anyways, might as well drop something while their names are in the headlines," ivan explained.

"do we have to write it?" ricky asked. ivan nodded his head and laughed.

"oh come on it's easy! just write about heartbreak and being sad.. how hard could it be?" ivan stated. benjamin and jenn let out a deep sigh, while they kept their mouths shut, "come on, you guys had experience in that field, right?"

ricky looked up at nini, his sad eyes eyeing the girl as ivan spoke to them. nini felt guilty so she looked away from the boy and at ivan. ricky sighed and leaned back in the chair as he focused on the papers, "you want nini and i to collaborate?" as he read into the finer details. nini scrunched her eyebrows together and started to read the fine print.
