Hayes' POV;
"Hayes I need to talk to you!" My mom shouted from her room.
"I'm coming" I said, I was nervous she never "needs to talk". "what's up?" I said, Nash was here too, along with Sky.
"Shut the door" she said. I did so, and then sat on the bed.
"Last night Ann's dad got in an accident. He was drunk driving, he passed away" I left my heart drop, I couldn't image what they're going through.
"Well how's Ann and Claire?" I asked, standing up.
"Not good. Last time I saw Ann she ran to her room and I heard a bunch of noise" she wiped her eyes.
"Mommy why haven't we met Ann's dad?" Sky asked.
"Well her parents were divorced like I am with Will, Nash, and Hayes' dad. They just lived in different states" sh said.
"Is he going to heaven?" She asked.
"Yes of course Sky" she told her.
"Can I go see her?" I asked.
"Hayes she might want to be alone" she tried to stop me.
"But mom it's Ann, she never wants to be alone" I ran to my room, putting a shirt and shorts on.
"Hayes don't bother her" she said, but I was already by the door. I ran to her house, the was unlocked luckily. I went up the stairs and I could hear her crying from the opposite side of the door. I slowly opened the door, her floor was covered with a bunch of stuff. She sat in her bed, her head was down so I couldn't see her face. "Go away" she said, bringing her hand to her face to wipe her eyes. I didn't go away though, I walked to her and just hugged her tight. She cried harder than before and hugged back. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry" I rocked her slowly.
