Ann's POV;
I fell asleep around 6:45 when I took my nap. I woke up from Hayes shaking me lightly on the shoulder, but some of it was a blur.
"Hey guys" I said walking to the table where everyone was seated.
"Ann your mom said you're gonna have to spend the night with us because she is gonna be in way later than she thought" Elizabeth informed me. I nodded taking a bite of the chicken.
"Yay Ann is staying here!" Sky said, hugging me. I laughed at her exictment.
"After dinner Ann you can go home get your things and then come back here, but I'll be leaving soon" She said.
"Will do." I said. I finished up eating, I went to my house, I put random clothes in my bag and grabbing everything else I needed and went back. I noticed that Elizabeth was gone by time I got back, so it was just Hayes, Sky and I.
"Ann can you play horse with me?" Sky asked when I came back downstairs from putting my things in the guest room.
"Sure" I said. We played for about 20 mins and Hayes came down.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"We're just playing horses" I told him, "but I'm getting bored" I lightly laughed.
"Well do y'all want to go to the lake?" He asked.
"Yes. But its kinda late?" I stood up.
"yeah but the sun is still out, and we'll be back before it starts to get dark"
We went on the trail, I put Sky on my back, so we wouldn't lose her. It was starting it get dark, but the sunsetting was so breath taking. "Wow" I said. I've always wanted to sit on my roof and watch the sun rise or set, but I never got the chance.
"Its almost 8:00, we should go" Hayes said.

We got back to the house, only 5 minutes later Elizabeth came back. I was talking to Hayes when she came in and Sky was getting ready for bed.
"I'm back, is Sky in bed?" She asked, putting her purse on the counter.
"Yeah." Hayes said. Us three talked for awhile about different things, until Elizabeth said she was getting tired and going to bed. So now it was just Hayes and I.
"Can you come with me?" Hayes asked.
"yeah.." I said. We walked to the back yard, "what is it?" I asked.
"nothing really, I just wanted to talk out here, it's really peaceful" he gave me a smile.
"Very" I laughed.
"I gotta tell you something. And its gonna change things a lot.." He said.
"Tell me" I was thinking or so many things it could be; he asked that girl out and she denied him, he's moving and that's why Elizabeth keeps leaving.
He took a deep breath, and scratched the back of his head, "well. So you know that girl I told you about, and how all I do is think about her?" I nodded, "its not who you think it is, it's you. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I needed to tell you sooner or later" I was so shocked, I was about to talk and tell him I like him back, but before I did Hayes kissed me. He pulled back and apologized.
"what do you mean sorry?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"So you like me?" He asked confused.
"Of course I like you Hayes" I laughed a little. Then he started shaking me, and kept saying my name. "Ann. Ann, Ann wake up!" He kept repeating.
I shot up, "I was just dreaming?" I said looking around me.
"What was that?" Hayes asked, looking confused.
"Nothing. I just had a werid dream!" I told him.
"Well dinner is done" he said, and left the room. I sat there confused of why I dreamed about him liking me back, I wouldn't have chance with him.
