Ann's POV;
"What was the confession you wanted Hayes to tell me?" I asked Matt when I caught him by himself.
"I can't tell you, he has to tell you!" He said.
"are you serious? He's not going to tell me if he doesn't know what you're talking about"
"I'll remind him later then" he said
"Okay.." I said unsure, I started to go back with Hayes. "Hey hey!" I said.
"Hi" He said plainly.
"Are you okay?" I asked him, he looked upset out of nowhere.
"Yeah. Are you?" He asked
"Yeah!" I giggled a bit.
We got back to dock, so we could swim. "Y'all don't go to far out too far!" Elizabeth said as she was rubbing sunblock on Sky and the guys got in the water.
"We won't!" They all told her.
I took off my shirt and shorts when Elizabeth said; "Ann be careful, the boys always play ruff!"
"I'll try." I told her, I was actually pretty used to the guys being 'ruff' so I think I'll be fine.
"Hey Sky want me to take you to the water?" I asked her.
"Yeah, am I done yet mom?" She asked.
"I have you do your back then your legs and you can go" Elizabeth told her.
"Ann come on!" Taylor shouted
"I can't, I'm about to play with Sky!" I shouted back and he just turned away.
I was talking to my mom and Elizabeth about Kentucky when I heard Cameron shout; "Go!" I look over and the guys were looking in my direction, I turned the other way to see what they were looking at. It was Hayes, he started running towards me shouting my name, I started run away.
"Hayes stop!" I yelled as I running. He caught up to me and picked me up by my waist and started running off the dock into the water.
"Really Hayes?" I said as I came up.
"We told you to come!" Taylor laughed.
"Dude, I said I was going to play with Sky!" I told him, "if she gets mad at me it's on you guys"
"Sorry, do you guy wanna jump off the roof?" Matt asked.
"I guess" I said, feeling bad I left Sky like that.
"Are you guys ready?" Nash shouted as we got to the top.
"Yeah, just hold up for a quick second" Cam said. He had his phone out, I'm guessing he was recording.
"Ready?" Aaron asked.
"Yes" Cam said.
"C'mon Ann!" Hayes yelled as I was about to go, then I was once again pushed in but by Taylor this time.
I felt my body hit the water.
"Dude he got you!" Nash laughed.
They all kept swimming, but I got out to play with Sky. I was holding her in the water and I tried to teach her how to swim for a little bit. We were talking about Nash and Hayes when she said something that really made me interested; "You know Hayes talks about you all the time?"
"Really? What does he say?" I asked, this was the second time she said something like this.
"He said that he thinks your very pretty and he's said he likes being with you because you're really fun" I blushed a little. "do you like him?" She asked.
"Well of course, he's my best friend!" I told her, but I like him more than a friend, "Sky look!" I said pointing, the sun was starting to go down. "Do you sit over here with me?" I asked, sitting on the edge dipping my feet in the water.
"Sure" she said as she walked over to me.
"what are you doing?" Hayes asked getting out of the water.
"Oh, we were watching the sun go down" I said, "What are you doing?"
"I was going to chill on he boat. Wanna come?" He asked.
"Umm I'm with Sky right now." I said. "I'm going with mommy" she said as she got up.
"Well I guess I can now" I told standing up.
We talked about nonsense, which we always did. But I enjoyed it.
"Are you cold?" Hayes asked
"yeah actually!" I told him. "Come here," he put his arm around me.
We sat in the boat, not talking as much as, we were admiring the view.
"Hayes and Ann its time to go home" Elizabeth said.
"We're coming" Hayes said, "here hop on" I got on his back as he carried me to where everyone was. I was so tired I was falling asleep.
"Goodnight Ann" I heard someone say, as I was put in my bed.
"Night" I mumbled, and covered myself with the blanket.
