Ann's POV;

We were walking on a trail, my vans are going to be so dirty after this from the mud.
"Here we are" he said turning so we were facing a different way. There was a dock that went out to the lake, it was pretty big. The view was amazing, so breath taking. At the moment the sun is shinning and the clouds are going away from the rain, and the sky is a little pink causing you to see pink tent on everything.
"Its so pretty!" I said looking out and walking to the edge.
"Yes it is.." Hayes said walking behind me. I sat down hanging my feet off the edge as did he, but instead he cris-crossed his legs.
"What time is it?" I asked him as I watched the lake water flow fast
"5:34"
"You still have time to get the girl. You should go right now" I shuggested
"Ehh, I rather be here. So who is the guy you couldn't stop thinking about last night?" He nudged my arm.
"Some guy from back in Kentucky. I don't really have a chance now. But you still do, so go" I told him
"Why do you want me to go so bad?" He asked.
"So you don't miss this opportunity, what if she finds someone else before you can have your chance?"
"Then I know it's not meant to be. Maybe I don't care anymore, I think she likes someone else anyway" he said sounding a little upset.
"Awhh I'm sorry Hayes. I'll stop bugging you, but can you talk to her tomorrow please?" I was practically begging him. Yes I like him, a lot. But if he likes someone else then I got to let him, he's not really working here with me though.

**Hayes' POV;**
Can't she see? Can't she see; she's the girl I'm talking about. Trying to get her alone so I get to know her, was what I'm doing now! That's why I'm not leaving. When she said "its so pretty" she was looking at the view, I was looking at her.
I'm happy I finally got her alone, just us. She already told me a lot last night, I liked talking to her. But when she laughed at my fans asking about us dating, it kind of hurt. I really liked her, she clearly doesn't. She said she likes some guy from Kentucky.

I watched her look at the sky, she would furrow her eyebrows whenever a cloud moved from the sun, then she would just look at the sky longer. She would move her head down to look at the water and kick her small feet. She stayed like that for a long time, we didn't talk or make a sound we just enjoyed each others presents, or I enjoyed hers. I saw her get a little red and put her head down looking at her thighs.
"Are you okay?" I asked
"I can feel you staring. Its making me insecure.." She covered her face, it was cute.
"Oh sorry." I was a little embarrassed that she caught me, "I wasn't staring at you in a bad way. I was watching your facial expressions change as different things happened. If that makes sense?"
"It doesn't, but I understand what you mean" she smiled, so I knew everything was good, "do you wanna go back to your house?" She stood up.
"Yeah" I stood up fixing my shirt. The walk back was quite, I'm hoping I'm not making things awkward now. We got back to the house and Nash was in the couch with Cam.
"Where did you guys go?" Nash asked.
"I showed Ann the lake and we just talked" I shrugged
"Oh. And Ann you're having dinner here, our moms planned it" he said
"Okay!" She said and sat on the couch and I followed behind sitting next to her.
